December Fever

it feels sooo good this month. it's a shopping month for me, why??? well, these are the things i purchased just for the month of december ...

on december 2, we went to joi's place, and we were welcomed with scattered bags, wallets, watches and everything, which were all being sold by her mother-in-law. it's like greenhills in the middle of West Avenue! hehe. i bought a white Louis Vittuon wallet for my mom(300), a Burberry umbrella (150) for myself, and a Lacoste clutch bag (350) for carlo. ok, as i've said on my blog week 108 post, they're all imitations but guaranteed first class so they're worth the price, i paid around 800 for all those three stuffs.

on december 5, we went to glorrieta, and i bought nianne a pair of white, mid-cut Barbie Rubber Shoes (650). she had been requesting for it for about two months now. the shoes were great, it's worth the price actually, and for her, it's worth the wait, nianne is sooo happy about it. when we went home, she didn't remove it for about until she fell asleep.

on december 9, we went to shoemart and i bought three pairs of shoes. i got a pair of sneakers (700) from celine, it's basically white, but it's straps are gray and it's glossy, which is sooo sexy, hehe! i've been so maarte when it comes to sneakers, and i had never been a a fan of rubbershoes, but since there are some trips we have wherein i need to wear something like it, i was sooo lucky to find this one, which is just sooo perfect for me! another thing i got from the store, is a pair of slip-ons (700) which is sooo classy. i already have like a hundred of slip-ons already, but i got this one so that i have a new one for the new year, hehe. what i like about this is that, it's so soft, and the strap has black sequences, which makes it sooo sexy and classy and all that and i love it. well, i'm not over yet, the third pair of shoe i got from mendrez, it's a black-three-inches heel stilletoes (900), it's nice because it's open at the back which gives it a twist of sexiness, something i can wear from formal to semi-casual of any occassions, sooo perfect.

on december 10, we went back to shoemart again. i first got a black shoulder bag from guess by marciano (3,800), and i love their new paper bag, hehe. then we bought nianne a black barbie soft pants (650), and a pink barbie bedroom slippers (100). then i got a set of cologne and coin purse from herbench (130), while nianne got a shirt from kinderbench (250).

on december 11, we went to greenhills, nianne got two sleeveless blouses (140), and a pink barbie shoulder bag(30), while i got three colorful, off- shoulder blouses (300), which are sooo cool, carlo love it! well, after greenhills, we went to shoemart, then finally, carlo had shopped stuffs for himself. it's been a hard time for us looking for anything he want but he's just not on the mood all the time, well, at last. he got a pair of jeans (1,300), 2 shirts (600), and a belt (300), all from FandH, FoldedandHung. i know that he looked like an endorser already, but at last we saw one that he wanted, haha!

on december 12, we went to tutuban center mall, and we purchased 151 gifts for 151 people on our christmas list, haha. we spent about 4,000+, shopping for all of those. gifts for family, friends and other alliances, hehe. check out my shopping week, you'll see the details there.

on december 17, we went to shoemart again, i bought a cute kit/ bag from adidas (495), it's for a guy name Bomber Moran ( we should use a local artist for a code name that's why), whoever he is, he's my monito for our kris kringle in the office, what a local artist, i don't even know him. well then i got a pair of black stretched jeans from herbench (700), and it's a shock to me that the price of my pants is the price of nianne's pants also, and come to think that her pants was like 1/4 of mine, ha!

on december 18, we went to shoemart, again, well, carlo is still unlucky with a pair of shoes he wanted to buy, and i always ended up buying things for myself. i got my fourth pair of shoes for the month, i got a pair of cute, two inches high sandals from somethin' else by sketchers (1800). i have never liked sandals with heights, but this one fits parfectly on my feet, they actually looked like woods, but their d*mn soft and comfy, well, do you still blame me for that.

on december 20, we went to shoemart, oh no, again, well, since SM north edsa is just like our neighbor, we go there whenever we want to for whatever reason, it's like our third home, haha! well, i accompanied carlo again in searching for a rubber shoes he's compatible with, and finally! FINALLY! after more than a week of search, he had decided to buy a pair of silver nike rubber shoes (3900), the model is called "studio", cool! finally he got one that he liked, it's a long search, however it's worth it!

and finally, on december 30, we went to shoemart for some window shopping, but i ended up buying a green blouse from fandh folded and hung (650). aside from that, i bought a wallet from guess by marciano (2,100), it's color is basically black outside and silver inside with a scattered print of the letter G to complete the design.

well, in know, it's too much. i didn't even include my expenses for food and other stuffs, these are just for shopping alone! however, what's good about this is that, i actually bought all of these out of my own money, a money i earned on my own. i am proud enough that i don't have that guilt inside me whenever i am to face the cashier since i know that i deserve it. well, the best thing there was, i didn't just shop for my self, but i shop for other people, people that i love and that's what makes me feel so happy!!! oh what a happy christmas!

My Christmas

It's been a great Christmas for me and my family for this year. we celebrated it full of happiness i would like to share to you all.

the celebration for the season had started for me since november. i started decorating the house and we started to hunt for christmas presents we wanted to give our families and friends. but the real chrsitmas spirit has been around everywhere, however the celebration goes this way for me. . .

i attended our Company Christmas Party on december 19, at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La. i fetched janice and joi at their respective houses, and we arrived at the party around 8pm. since i was sooo busy for work, i haven't been attended any gathering for the past four months, the last one i had attended, as according to my memory, is my wedding day! haaay! well, back to the event, when we got there, the fist thing that welcomed us was the dinner buffet. well, although there's not much food around, it's just the pastries for dessert that was overflowing, but the food was just enough for everyone and it's a self served buffet. after we had got some food, we entered the main venue. there was a live band performing, although they're not that popular and all, it always feels sooo good to hear a live band playing music before you. we then started to work on our plates, haha! the dinner was not that good, it's no longer warm and all that, well, it's just not nice if you know how to cook because your taste buds would be weird, haha! well however i enjoyed the soup. one more thing i hated also was the iced tea. when i saw it, it's red, so i came to think that it's actually red iced tes but when i tasted it, oh i wanted to spit it out. well, water did worked for me the entire night. after eating, i was just entertained by the baby of my officemate maki. the little boy's name is IO, and that's his real name. i just carried him on my arms and he was sooo cute, after that we just walked around to look for some other pals, then i started to feel bad. my urinal infection attacked again, i think that it's because the water that i had been drinking is not purified. well, after a few visits at the restroom, i decided to go home since i'm not enjoying myself anymore. i called carlo up and he fetched me right away. i fell asleep on our way home, we just brought janice to their house and headed home. well, if i was to rate the event 10 the highest, i'll rate it 7, considering all the effort of all the people behind it, and that it's held on the Makati Shangri-La for christ sake, and that the event had accommodated almost 1000 people, the evening was great.

carlo attended the Kia Pride Tuning Christmas party the following day, december 20, but we didn't come with him because i'm feeling sooo sick that night. well, he told me it was nice, the party has overflowing of food, stories and ideas regarding their hobby whatelse, haha!

carlo's family had organized a christmas party for their employees on december 22. they actually had around 12 employees all working for their simple family business. they had food, drinks and ofcourse some karaoke session and all of their bonuses was given that night. they were all sooo happy when we gave our presents to them too. although i was just there a quarter of the time since it had work that night, i knew it went well and they all enjoyed themselves.

we went to the house of our so called "auntie ninang" on december 23 for their company christmas party. they actually own Basic Insurance Services, a franchise of Philam Life. we arrived at the place around 9pm. the food was catered, as always, we just had dinner and some talk around. their employees were all so busy enjoying the videoke so everything is all ok. we watched a movie called Sassy Girl and it was cool, however we wasn't able to finish it since carlo is sooo sleepy already so we headed home. the party was actually a regular thing for them every year on the 23rd of december. it was just a simple get together i may say, but it has some raffle draws and stuffs which makes the event more exciting.

this is actually our first chrsitmas on our own place, but we actually decided to celebrate chrsitmas eve and the traditional noche buena on my in-laws house as we have been doing for the past five years. what we did was, we had dinner at our home, then we attended mass, then we went to my in-laws house a little before 12midnight. it's just a few of us there, my brother- in-law and his family had spent the eve on his in-laws place, so it's just carlo, nianne and i, his mom, his sister, his aunt and his niece. we exchanged presents by 12midnight, then we just made some sundot on the food, not a formal novhe buena meal since were all full still, and my mother-in-law opened a white wine for us to share. we went home by 2am. the celebration was simple, but what's important that night is the spirit of love and sharing we all have for each other as a family.

we had lunch on my lolo's house on christmas day, it was actually a tradition already to have lunch there on christmas day, december 25. we had lunch there at around 1pm. carlo, nianne and i, my lolo, my tito jesse, my aunte elsa, and my uncle lando. it's my first time to spend christmas with my tito jesse, who had been away for 19 years, and it was really a nice feeling to have him around, it's as if we have daddy around also, they actually have the same voice that's why. the food were all great, all prepared by tito jesse, we had thid lumpiang hubad with alot of sauces and spices, he said that it's an indonesian food, then we have pansit, crispy pata and many more. after the meal we exchanged presents and it was fun. my tito julius, a family friend, came also, he bought some weird kakanin from la union and he's with his two cute pamangkins. we had some talk and laugh with tito jesse until merienda, then we left at around 5pm. it was really a great day. the lunch was great.

my sister alexa came to my lolo's house on the 26th. we went there to see her and had merienda with them. some of our relatives from baliuag, bulacan, which i haven't seen for years, also came to visit. i let them see our wedding photos and made some kwento. it's good to see them again, i hardly can't remember any memories of them actually. and it was really so nice to see my sister. it's been two months since i klast saw her and she has grown up so fast. i wish to see her more often, how i wish.

it was really a great christmas for me. and how i wish everyday would be christmas. . .

blog week 111

Merry Christmas everyone!!!

on monday i woke up around 9am, feeling so tired from our Company Christmas Party on sunday night, feeling so sick, and giving as much tollerance as needed for my soar throat, oh, what a good way to start my day... or should i say my week, hell no! well, carlo left early for some work, then he came back to have breakfast. we had late breakfast at around 11. after eating he left again, while nianne and i were planning to go to the grocery store, but unfortunately, i'm still sooo sleepy and dizzy, and, ok, fine, lazy to go out! so nianne just took a bath, then we had a nap for about until 5pm, until carlo arrived. we had late lunch, then we decided to go to the grocery. we just dropped by the stuffs we bought, then headed to sm, again to continue the search for the shoes that carlo is still unfortunately undecided of! (oh what a description, haha!) well, how lucky we are to finally find one. then i headed to the office and just took the 9 hour shift fighting my bad feeling out!

i went home with aleck on tuesday morning, i hurried much thinking that carlo cannot use his car by 7am because of the color coding something. well, i kept on calling him to inform him that i'm on my way home already but i cannot reach his phone. well, i just took the cab from the station to the house, to find out that there was no signal on the spot where he left his phone so definitely it's unreachable, haha! well, we just had a little talk, then i fall asleep at our living room, but he woke me up right away so i went up and slept, that was around 9am. before they left, i remember he actually changed my clothes for me to be more comfortable, since i was sooo sleepy and i didn't manage to change it myself, then he fixed the pillows and blanket i'm using, and kissed goodbye, oh i love my husband! well, i woke up around 4pm. i fixed the stuffs we had from the grocery on monday, then i started to prepare dinner, at the same time, i folded some clothes all fresh from the laundry. they arrived before six and had dinner right away. after eating we watched a video called sugar hill a bit, then at 7:30pm, i started preparing myself for work. we left the house around 8pm, and i managed to be at the office by 8:40, wow! well, not much calls received that night, it's because of the season. i didn't felt bad that night, it's a good thing i had 7 hours of sleep before my shift!

on wednesday morning, at exactly 6am, i managed to logout from the office and headed home, however i am not that lucky enough since i ran out of battery again! well i took a cab from the station to the house. i had breakfast with carlo and had some laughs and talk. then we went up and woke nianne up with some tickles and stuffs, oh how she loves that! then i slept at around 10am and woke up at 4:30pm. i started to prepare dinner, then i called carlo up. he then told me to get my self ready and we'll just have dinner at my in-laws house, there was a simple christmas party held for their employees. well, say goodbye to beef nilaga for that. he fetched me, then we went there around 6:30pm, bringing with us the christmas presents we have for the people. i helped his mom a bit, then we went to price smart and got 3 whole roasted chickens, yum yum! then we went back and had dinner. we left at around 8:30pm, not much traffic yet, but i was late for a minute, haha. not much calls received again because of the holiday season, whatelse! however i'm feeling sooo weak the entire night, i was actually looking forward for a 5 day vacation that's why. we had some exchanging of gifts the entire night at the office. i got a beauty set from the body shop from the kris kringle we had and it was fun.

i went home straight on thursday morning. carlo fetched me at the station and i was sooo sleepy. when we got home, we went to sleep again for until 10am. then i had some cleaning on the house, and after that, nianne and i made some fruit salad for early noche buena preparation. after that, we took a nap, and when carlo arrived, we prepared ourselves since we are to attend a christmas party. we left at around 9pm, we went to the house of carlo's aunt and attended the christmas party for their company. we left there by 12midnight. we dropped her cousin ana at their house and headed home. we slept at around 2am.

we woke up at around 11am on friday. we had breakfast, then we went out to get some stuffs i still need for the food that i will prepare. we first went to robinsons supermarket, but there's no where to park, and the line for the cashier is hopeless. so we decided to just left. after that we went to kfc and bought some chicken, then we went to the wet market to buy the stuffs i need. then we passed by the video store to rent some movies. then we went back to kfc when i got to realize that we left the salad that i also ordered, then went home. i started to prepare some foods. i cooked some pansit bihon and beef with mushroom. we had dinner by 7pm, then went to my mom's house to exchange presents. we left the house around 9pm, dropped by my in-laws house to give some food, then we attended mass until around 11pm. we went back to my in-laws house, we actually decided to spend christmas there. by 12 midnight we exchange presents then we ate noche buena. we went home at around 1pm we watched the terminal on video and slept by 4am.

we woke up at around 12noon on saturday. we just fixed ourselves and went to my lolo's house for lunch. when we arrived by 1pm, we had lunch, some talk and exchanged presents. then i went to erin, a neighboor, and a childhood friend of mine, to check out her baby and give our present. then we left at around 5pm. after that we went to my in-laws house where our friend albert came to visit. their daughter lalaine is all grown up now, and so naughty, haha. nianne exchanged presents with her, then they had dinner there. they left at around 8pm. then we left by nine to catch the last full show of enteng kabisote. the movie was great. it really pays off, thinking that mr. vic sotto just makes a movie once a year in time for the festival, but it's well done. i the movie should've been sooo prefect, only if they have gotten another leading lady other than kristine hermosa. she's sooo maarte, and full of "keme". there was this one scene wherein, she's supposed to be bare footed, but it was caught on the camera that she was actually wearing a transparent plastic slippers, she doesn't deserve any of her fans anymore. her head had already blown big, bigger than her entire career! oh, ok, change the mood. we finished the movie and went home around 12, and slept by 2am.

on sunday morning, we woke up around 11. we had brunch, then we went to my lolo's house again, since my sister is coming, alexa. we arrived there by 1pm, then i just played with the baby, who looks like me a lot, haha, until they left by 3pm. then we had merienda with some relatives and left. we passed by my in-laws house to leave some gifts we have for their relatives in case they pass by. then we went to my lola yvonne's house. unfortunately she's not around, so we just left our present for her on the guard on duty, and went to my papa ray's place, but again, no ones around so we just left our presents for them. after that we dropped by greenwich near our place to get some pizza, carlo went to the hardware store for some stuffs he need, then we went to my in-laws house. we had dinner there, and we all went to policarpio street in mandaluyong to check out the all lighted houses they featured on tv. well, we were all disappointed that it wasn't that nice as we expected, haaay. we just stayed there for about les than an hour, and went home. we slept by 1am.

this week has been a nice week for me. everyone, all the people around me are all happy about the season and all that stuff! Merry Christmas everyone! and ... Happy Birthday Jesus! mwah!

Christmas Spirit

A few days before Christmas, the Monsignor thought it would be a good idea if he solicited the support of a number of the Catholic Schools to get together to create a Nativity Scene in time for the Christmas Mass. The day before Christmas, the Monsignor discovered that the Nativity Scene was still incomplete so he made a few inquiries on why this was so...

-Ateneo reported it could come up with only two and not three wise men.
-La Salle reported it couldn't comeup with even a single wise man.
-Maryknoll reported that it couldn't come up with even a single virgin.
-San Beda reported that it could only come up with three wise gays.
-UP reported that they killed the three wise men.

blog week 110

oh what a very busy week it was for 109, birthday celebrants and a lot of shopping had happen, well, the following week goes this way ...

on monday i woke up around 7am, carlo said he's leaving so i didn't get back to sleep, and started doing the laundry. i woke nianne up around 10am, she took her medicine and had breakfast, we finished with everything around 12noon already, nianne is too lazy that morning so she's unfortunately late for school. when they left i strted to wrap the remaining gifts for until around 3pm. i then found out that i had wrapped 151 gifts for 151 people this christmas, wow! what a santa, haha!. i then started try if i can push my self to sleep since i'm back to the graveyard shift starting that day, but i wasn't able to, carlo and nianne arrived. i prepared dinner around 5, and we had dinner at six. we left the house around 7pm and went to my lolo's house with kevin, he haven't seen tito jesse since birth so he can't wait till christmas, hehe. we had some stories, beer, siopao and siomai, then we left around 8, carlo brought me to the train station and i was set to work. i arrived at the office around 8:43pm, just in time. the whole night was like going back to a normal working hours for me again. joi and i made a lot of kwento and all that update for the past week that we didn't. not that much calls received also, so everything went on great.

i wasn't able to went home straight tuesday morning. joi accompanied me to our workforce department, and i got the papers for my leaves on the 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st. i went home around 7am. carlo wasn't able to fetch me from the station, it's passed 7 already and cops are starting to hunt cars ending on 4 ao i took a cab. when i got home, carlo and i watched the non-stop news about the death of fpj, then we had breakfast around 9am. they left and i slept until around 4pm, i woke up when they arrived. carlo left again, and nianne and i had merienda. nianne then took a nap and i prepared dinner around 6pm. we had dinner at 7, and i left for work at 8, good thing i was early to arrive at the office by 8:43. the calls are a lot that night because of some server issues, but we managed. i actually got 68 calls the whole 8 hours, oh so tired!

i went home straight on wednesday morning. i texted carlo to fetch me from the train station, but he didn't replied so i took a cab, thinking that he didn't got my message. when i got home, he's not there, i called him, he's at the station waiting for me, oh what a good start for a day i said, haaay! when he got home, he prepared breakfast, but i already fell asleep. they left around 11am, saying that our friend bryan is there for some help. well, i continued sleeping. i woke up around 4pm and found out that my phone didn't charged at all! oh no! well, i watched some shopping tv, then i prepared dinner around 6pm. they arrived at 7, we had dinner, bryan is still there, then we left and he brought me to the office on his way home to las piñas. we left the house around 7:45, and guess what, it's freakin' traffic starting from cubao so we scrolled down edsa and i arrived at the office 9:40pm!!! yeah, i'm late, my day is really a curse! there are HUGE amount of calls that night, the queue never stops and i'm sooo sleepy and not on the mood and all that. oh what a day!

and so again on thursday morning i went home straight for we had an appointment with nianne's teacher at 8am. i arrived at the north station before 7am, then we went straight to her school. we arrived there early enough for us to be able to have breakfast first at jollibee. we had a meeting with her teacher, and one of the parent of her classmate, because she was then hurt by that boy, again and that is enough for this time. we left before 9am, and realized that we should've fixed nianne for school before going there since her schedule for that day is 9:30, haaay! we went home stright, just picked up her clothes and things then headed back to her school, she dressed up inside the car whatelse. then after bringing her to school, i went to the mall to buy a gift for their exchange gift the following day, and i hunted for some jeans i'm planning to buy. i was able to buy a cute gift but the jeans is not a choice since i was not on the mood anymore, sooo sleepy. carlo fetched me from the mall, and brought me home since they've got a lot to do. i just fixed the gifts nianne have for her classmates, then slept around 1:30pm. i woke up when carlo called my mom's house, and ask kevin to wake me up, that was around 7:30pm. he arrived around 7:50, then he brought me to the station, but i ate some stuffs from mc donalds first for dinner before i rode the train. i arrived at the office around 8:45, as same as wednesday, i am not on the mood, i feel sooo sick because of my clogged nose, sooo sleepy, feeling sooo weak the whole time. it's a good thing that's my last day for the week.

i went home straight on friday morning, all in good mood and stuff so excited to spend a whole day and night with carlo and nianne since i'm on leave, wahoo! well, not a good strat since the train i rode in actually stopped running in the middle of the shaw blvd. and ortigas station, it crawled all the way to the north avenue station, well, it's a good thing i got there. i then found out that the reason why the electricity that made the mrt run shut off, because of the fire that happened at the guadalupe station, come to think that the train that was burnt out was just the train next to the one i am in, oh how lucky i am! well anyways, when i arrived, nianne is sooo mad already, thinking that she's late from school and it's their christmas party so she's crying out loud already. so we hurried and went to her school straight, fixing her hair in the car. we were just in time when we got there and i stayed with her the entire party. the party was cool, there are like 170 kids aroung the hall, since it's a combined party for the entire preschool departmen which is actually a good idea. the kids were all so enjoyed and happy. nianne is so proud, she actually gave all of her classmates, notebooks as christmas presents, and their very thankful to her. when we finished there, we waited for carlo at the jollibee store infront of the school, and i had breakfast there. when he arrived, we just had a little chat with one of the organizers of the children's christmas party, then we headed to my in-laws place. we left after like half an hour, we went with carlo to buy some tires for some cars they have for sale. nianne and i just slept the whole time, so carlo brought us home after that. i slept a little bit more, while nianne just paly around. then carlo arrived around 5pm, then we went to the mall to look for some shoes he has to buy. well, i ended up buying a pair of jeans from herbench. it's a good thing i'm on the mood to fit that time, and i saw one that's cute, so i got it! we went home around 10pm, and slept early feeling so tired that night.

on saturday morning, i woke up at 12noon, oh what a great feeling of a great sleep! when i went down, carlo and nianne is already eating breakfast. i did a little cleaning in the house since i have a friend who did came to visit at around 4pm. rochelle, my bestfriend on senoir high, came to vist with her boyfriend jose, oh how i love the couple. when they came to my wedding, they were just friends, well finally, they came to their senses and admitted the love they have for each other. they brought nianne a liter of melon milk , some chicken nuggets and chocolates. we had spaghetti, i prepared for snacks, then we had dinner with them, and we went to shoemart again for some shoe hunting of carlo. well, again, i ended up buying another pair of shoes while carlo is still unlucky! haha! i bought a cute sandals from sketchers, about two inches high, well i don't really like sandals with some height, but this one is cute so i got it, haha! then before we went home, we dropped by the video store to rent some movies, and went home around 11. before we slept, we watched super size me, then we slept around 2.

we woke up early sunday morning, had breakfast, then carlo and i did the laundry while nianne watched garfield the movie on video. we finished around before lunch, then we left the house, carlo just left me at the salon, while he went to their house for some work, nianne went with him. at the salon i had my nails, toes, eyebrows and eyelashes done. although i spent like 4 hours at the salon, it feels sooo good, haha! carlo fetched me, then we went home, i prepared myself for our company christmas party, then we fetched janice and joi and headed to makati shangrila, and it's party time! haha! well, unfortunately, i didn't enjoyed myself much. the food is not that good, the band is not really good! and the place is sooo crowded, the team is all over the place. well, anyways, it's still a party, my officemates and friends are there, there are lot of foods around, and it's still makati shangrila so, it was a great evening! carlo fetched us around 10:30, then we just brought janice home, and went straight home, we slept around 12midnight.

blog week 109

it has been a different week for me. i used to spend the whole day sleeping and the whole night working, but this week, it's different.

monday is actually a scheduled restday from work so we woke up around 7am to prepare breakfast. carlo had to leave early for some work while nianne and i were left to clean the house. i worked on our rooms, changed the sheets, curtains and stuff while nianne work on her assignments. carlo arrived around 11am and we brought nianne to school, i accompanied him to some work, then we dropped by garcia's for some meat, and ate late lunch at pares. fetch nianne from school around 3pm. we went home straight, nianne had her merienda, while carlo left again. after that, nianne take a nap, while i watched Chasing Liberty on video, it's soo good, i liked it. i prepared dinner around 7pm, nianne woke up and carlo arrived a few minutes after, singing ang pasko ay sumapit, haay. we had dinner at around 8pm, then we started to watch tv, then i fell asleep.

tuesday morning is still a scheduled restday. we woke up around 7am, i prepared breakfast, we ate then carlo left early again for some work. nianne and i watched Something's gotta Give on video, and this movie is really great, highly recommended, hehe. after the movie, i started to prepare nianne for school. carlo arrived and they left around 11am. i started working on our closets, to fix our clothes and segregate stuffs. carlo arrived around 1:30pm and took a nap, while i fix myself. we left around 2pm to fetch nianne. we were so early when we arrived at her school so we had merienda at jollibee first, when nianne came out we left right away. they dropped me off the salon and i spent about three hours having my nails and toes done, and i had a haircut. i went to my in-laws house, which is just a block away from the salon, carlo is waiting for me there, then we headed home. we prepared dinner, they ate then we slept around 9:30pm.

we woke up early wednesday morning for another day at work for me. nianne doesn't have school that day because it's the feast of the Immaculate Conception, and it's my dad's birthday, Happy Birthday Dad! mwah! i arrived at work around 7:53am, just in time, and it's pretty much different on the morning shift, my eyes aches a lot, so i was wearing shades the whole time. there are lot of calls before my lunch, since it's just the four of us there, which is unusual again, however i was able to manage it, hehe. i went home straight at around 5pm, and i was really amazed on the huge amount of people around, walking on the streets, running after the jeep for a ride, on line to ride the train, oh no! that was the first time i experienced that thing. i decided to just take a round trip, riding the train south bound, until the last station, taft, then travel back north bound on a sure seat. however, it took me like an hour trip, passing through all 13 stations before my landing. carlo is starving to death, as always, when i arrived, he's been waiting on the train station for just 15 minutes, but it's like forever for him. haha. we then drop by my in-laws house just to get some video disks we left there, then passed by the video store to bring them back, then we went to my lolo's house for a dinner in celebration for my dad's birthday, who is not there, haaay. when we arrived i am feeling something unusual, then, i found out my uncle jesse, who have been living in australia is home, ooops, i'll just make a post for this, hehe. well, carlo and i left for a while to get some roasted chicken and cake, then we went back and had dinner. after the dinner i went out and saw one of my childhood friends, erin, wow, my bridesmaid, she already have a baby, daniel, i went to see the cute child and how i long to have a baby boy of my own again. haay. well, after that, we headed home and went to sleep around 10:30pm.

thursday morning is back to work, we woke up around 6am, carlo prepared breakfast for me, i finished eating after half an hour, then just made some kwento and laughing with him, haha. after a few minutes, my mom went to us saying that her maid had left without permission, and she's like so worried because obviously, she's not prepared of it. well, we left the house around 7am, then i was just in time on the office, i arrived 8am. it was just another day on the morning shift, although it's not that boring for me, well knowing me, haha. after lunch, we had a free merienda, courtesy of an agent that i don't know who he is, sorry, he actually ask everybody to eat so we did. i went home straight at 5pm, i was with wacks because he is to get his car from the shop, we took a cab and it's freakin traffic half the trip but we managed to get there. after he got his car, carlo, nianne and i went to the mall to shop. i got three pairs of shoes, yes, you heared it, three pairs, well, i'm on the mood that night that's why. i got a very cute glossy sneakers, and a cute sparkling slip- ons both from celine, then i got a pair of heels from mendrez. after that we had dinner at Kenny Rogers and i may say it's not that good anymore, *sigh. well, we went home around 10pm, and went to bed around 11pm.

friday was supposed to be the last day of a work week, but it's the second to the last week for me. i was sooo lucky that day, i left the house early enough to have a seat on the train, despite the collision of people, and i'm just on a normal early for work, yahoo! it's freaky to have received a lot of calls that day. it's a good thing carlo had to go to makati for some "car shopping", hehe, so he was able to fetch me from the office at 5pm. it's traffic going home as usual, needing to crawl down edsa for an hour to take us home. when we got to my in-laws house, where nianne is waiting, nianne is having her dinner already. we had dinner there, then we leave and went to shoemart. i bought a black shoulderbag from guess, then i bought a black soft jeans from barbie for nianne, and a barbie bedroom slippers for her also. then we went to herbench and i got a cologne and a coin purse, while nianne got a red shirt from kinderbench. we went home around 10pm and slept by eleven.

i was sooo lazy to go to work on saturday morning. it was supposed to be a weekday restday but because i'm on a diferent schedule, it's still not. we woke up at 6am, but i get up around 6:45, in 15 minutes, i took a bath, get dressed and had breakfast, haha, beat that. then i arrived at the office at 7:30, oh no! in the office it's freezing cold and not much people around. i had a pain in the eye for the whole day, for i forgot to bring my shades and the sun is freakin' bright. haaay. time is running sooo slow that day, maybe because it's a weekend and there's not much people around, good thing there's not much calls also, har! but there's one thing that really pissed me off, when i took my first 15 minute break, which is an hour late already, my stupid/ bum supervisor went up to me at the elevator lobby, screaming out, asking me to come back because there's no one to take the calls anymore, it's like, f*@%! you don't need to shout on me, in front of so many people, huh, i cried whatelse, knowing me, when i'm mad i cry, oh what an angel, haha, well forget about it! after work, carlo and i met up at the mrt station near crame, since we are going to greenhills to shop. when we arrived, we were surprised to see a lot of changes, it's been a while since we've been there and it's different already. what's still the same however, is the huge amount of people on the mall, and the very little aisles you need to pass through in order to get some stuffs. we were not really on the mood that time, there's a lot of people all over the place, we can't hardly walk properly. we just got 2 blouses and a shoulder bag for nianne, then i got three blouses, they're cute anyways, they're off- shoulders and the colors are cool, i was supposed to buy more but carlo is hungry already. we tried to look for kfc, it used to be at the parking lot which is now underconstruction. we tried mc donalds but the amount of people there are like good luck. we decided to just leave, since we are not enjoying anymore, then we ate at kfc in connecticut st. near edsa. on our way home we decided to pass by sm city annex so we did. i tried to check on some guess wallet i'm planning to purchase, while carlo checked on some shoes he's planning to buy also. i was not so lucky, did not find a good one that time. while carlo and i was able to make a pick of which shoes to buy, it's so nice, it's from adidas, it's color is like a shade of silver and it's around 5,000 so we're going to buy it before christmas. then we stopped to each stores there. and we were so lucky to find a good pair of jeans for him in folded and hung. he also got a belt and 2 shirts, a whole new outfit from that store and it's cool. we went home around 10 pm and slept around after twelve.

we all compromised each other to wake up early on sunday morning, for we are scheduled to go to tutuban to finalize our shopping for christmas gifts. but as unfortunately as usual. i woke up 7am and prepared breakfast but it took me an hour to ask my husband and daughter to come down and start preparing themselves, haaay. we left the house around 11am, then carlo found a new shortcut so we arrived there around 12noon. parking is not that difficult, we actually parked right beside the street, oh not that difficult. there are lots of people but not as many as there is in greenhills. we were lucky to see this one store that contains just everything, so we were so lucky to have bought everything we need there. we ate around 2pm, then carlo brought us home, while he went to the fort for the monthly meeting of the kia pride tuning chuvaness! i spent the whole afternoon wrapping some of the gifts, while nianne took her ciesta. then when carlo arrived at 7pm, we went to buy some food with my mom for dinner since it's my one and only brother kevin's birthday then we went and got a bucket of chicken from kfc, again, and some palabok, and some cake and ice cream, then we went to dig the food out on my mom's house, haha! the birthday celebrant had sacrificed his entire day to some ethnic seminar, so he arrived around 9pm. we had some talk, stories and laughs, then we went home around10pm. i continued wrapping some more gifts, then we slept after 12midnight.

my conclusion is, my blog week 109 is a shopping week. and it feels sooo good to have shopped not just for my self, but also for my loved ones, family and friends.

A Balikbayan

last night was my dad's birthday, december 8, it's been a tradition for us to have dinner at their house in celebration regardless of the fact that he's abroad, he's not around, we still do. so after work, we went to my lolo's house. when we got there, we felt that something will definitely come to our surprise. all the lights on the house are all open, and the spirit is different, not just a spirit of christmas but a different spirit and aura. when we get in, the expression of my lolo is different, there's a glow. then i saw the cabinets on the kitchen filled with some imported gooddies and stuff. suddenly, i walked towards the kitchen then my lolo bumps in and said, andyan tito jesse mo ... and i was like, ha ... what, then he went out of the room and i screamed ... oh my god! then i hugged him tight, a little teary eyed but i was able to handle it, he said hi to nianne and carlo, and it was just unbelievable for me.

well, Joseph Bautista Aladin, the elder and the only brother of my dad, has been away for 19 years already this december. he's been living in australia working as a CPA (certified public accountant) on some company in sydney that i'm so sorry to have forgot, but however, he had been living there all my life, i have totally forgot how he looked before, but since he've been writing me, he's pictures are all over the house, he have this one place in my heart and i have that love for my tito jesse.

although he's been away, he have always made sure that we will feel him all the time. he never forget to send cards and gifts for some special occassions, he always make a phone call on the exact day to greet and spell good wishes for you, and he will never fail to send an email of regards for you every once in a while. he is very very thoughtful. some of the things that he have given to me have made me say wow and that i have treasured, are ofcourse, the pretty, huge, and colorful brithday cards, then he had given me a beauty set from bvlgari, a perfume, a soap and a lotion, it's actually set on a gift box, he gave it for my 18th birthday, he had given me a david louisse pair of gold bagels, which is kinda heavy, and is being used by my mom right know, but damn, they are 24karat gold bagels, i can't even find an event that i can wear them. well he had given bags also, but my favorite is the red esprit wallet he gave me when i was in grade six, which was actually stolen, haaay. he have always been sooo kind to me, and now, to my family.

he had been away for 19 years straight, and we are so happy to see him again and be with him this christmas. thank you so much for everything tito, or just by simply being here. we love you soo much, and finally, you are home.

blog week 108

i woke up sooo early monday morning. we had a very busy weekend so we wasn't able to do the laundry. it's a good thing that it's a holiday so we didn't worry about nianne's uniforms. carlo woke up after about half an hour and helped me out *wink! we had breakfast and we finished around 10am. i helped nianne with her homework, (it's subtraction and she's damn good, haha!). then i fixed some of the mess we had over the weekend and prepared lunch. after eating carlo need to leave for some work while nianne and i slept around 3pm until 6pm. when we woke up, i prepared dinner and prepared for work. it's raining hard so carlo need to bring me to work, but unfortunately, i'm late for about six minutes because edsa is sooo slippery and it's raining hard. it's the regular nine hours again but joi's there so i'm a little more noisy, hehe. i was sooo sleppy that night but was able to take a nap during my last break. it was a very stressful night, i actually had 65 calls the whole 8 hours. sooo tired and sleepy.

on tuesday, i went straight home and it's not raining anymore. i had to wait for carlo at the station cause according to him, it's traffic. we got home and i prepared breakfast. after eating, i fell asleep right away and woke up around 6:30pm when carlo arrived and did wake me up, gosh. i prepared dinner and we had dinner around 7:30, then i prepared for work and arrived at the office around 8:53. and again same as monday night, a lot of calls came in and it's freezing cold in the office.

i was able to go home straight on wednesday morning. just had a little chat with mommy grace and her abay team and went home. good thing it's not raining coz i don't have a freakin' umbrella. i was suppose to buy carlo a magazine but the stall in the train station is still close, i was to buy an internet card for carlo also, but the vendor doesn't have a change so, oh what a bad start. i was sooo sleppy i even fell asleep inside the car on our way home and fall asleep straight without even changing clothes right away. i woke up around 4pm, watched tv for a while and prepared dinner around 6, when carlo and nianne arrived. after eating, i prepared for work and arrived at around 9:03pm, yes, i'm late, oh no not again. however not much calls during the shift so it's a good thing. we had a meeting right before my shift ended, just giving us some precautions on what to do, and what to be since an alarming typhoon is coming and we should be ready. ooohhhhhh

on thursday morning, joi had to wait for two hours, while i had to wait for an hour, for wacks, he went to our place and asked carlo to help him out in fixing the big damages he have on his car, we all decided i'll prepare breakfast for them and since it's their restday, we all agreed. we left the office just a few minutes after 7am, joi is actually dead sleeping the whole trip, god tired. when we arrived i started to prepare breakfast, we had breakfast together then carlo and wacks left right away after eating, while joi and i cooked some spaghetti, yumyum. carlo went back to fetch us, then we fetched wacks from the shop and went to the mall to pass out time. when we arrived, joi decided to go home first to give raymond some food to eat, and i was "hold-uped", whatelse, i accidentally had shopping there when i saw the scattered bags, wallets and everything. well, i wasn't able to see a bag for me that time, but i got a cute burberry umbrella for myself, a lacoste bag for carlo, and a louis vuitton wallet for my mom as a christmas gift, well, don't be shocked, they're all imitations but guaranteed first class! hehe. and, after that we went to the mall officially, we first bought starbucks ofcourse, hehe, then wacks need to hunt for a chinese costume for a wedding but we were unfortunate, then we hunted for a wedding gift for pakko and toks, congratulations guys! and we just decided to purchase a pair of mug we saw in starbucks, it's cute actually. well after that we went back to the shop for wack's car, then we brought joi home and nianne and i went home for some sleep. we were able to sleep around 3pm and when we woke up when carlo arrived, because of the typhoon, there is no electricity and the roads outside are all closed for some precautions. and since that's the case and my mom and carlo don't allow me to suffer myself and go to work, so i did called in absent. carlo and nianne had dinner and just by the time electricity came back, we went upstairs for a good cold sleep.

i woke up early friday morning, around 7am and i was starving, so i ate some spaghetti while watching the news. carlo and nianne woke up after an hour and had breakfast too. we left the house around 9:30am, because i wanted to go and watch a movie and they don't want to come with me so i went on alone. i arrived at the mall a little bit early so i lined up waiting for the opening, when i got inside, i was disappointed again because the first show will start 11am! i tried to let time pass by buying some food to eat inside the movie house, i came back 20 minutes before 11 but the guard doesn't allow anyone to enter the theater yet. so what i did was i just try to see some shoes cause i'm actually trying to buy one, well, what happened was i was late for the first showing of the movie, oh no! well, it's a good thing it had just started so i just went ahead. after the movie, i went to buy a sun cellular sim pack so that carlo and i can enjoy the 24 by 7 chuvah promo. then i bought some pasalubong and carlo picked me up around 2pm. we went to my in-laws house, while carlo need to go once in a while to see wacks who's trying to make his car fixed still. we went home and had dinner, then wacks brought me to the office, good thing i was on time, 8:58pm, wow! hehe. i was very sleepy that night but there's not much calls so it's ok.

i went home straight saturday morning feeling sooo sleepy and sick. when i went home, i slept for about until 10am, woke up and just watched tv with nianne, we had lunch together in one plate, hehe, then i just lie down the sofa to rest while nianne play. around 5pm, carlo arrived then we left to visit a relative, because my grandpa actually sent something for us, haha, dollars coming! hehe. we just showed them the pictures of our wedding then we left to do the grocery. after that we went home and slept early.

sunday was my first day to experience the normal 8am to 5pm morning shift for the first time, haha! we woke up around 6am, carlo prepared breakfast while i prepare for work then we ate together. we left before 7am, nianne was still sleeping that time, yet i arrived at the office at 7:20, wow, early. it's totally new for me, seeing just two webhosting agents, me and ceejay, and one tier2, it's just the freakin three of us. when cj had to take his lunch, i was the only person on avail, which is sooo unusual, hehe, and there was this screaming cust who called for about ten times, wherein i'm so lucky to get her, and scream back to her, haha, well, she gave up because she need help from me, haha, BAD! my eyes were swelling the whole time, too much light infront of the computer monitor i think. however it's kinda great also to experience life on the regular time of work. however this shift would just last for a week only, so, i'll be going back to the vampire shift, which is more like it, hehe. after work at around 5pm, carlo and nianne fetch me from work and we went to glorietta for dinner. after eating, we went to look for a rubber shoes for nianne. we were so lucky to find one, a plain white mid-cut barbie rubber shoes which is just so perfect for her. it just shocked me to find out that her shoe size is already for teens no longer kids, it's size 1 for teems, soo big feet, hehe. after that we got tired already and went home, carlo just needed to drop by their house and the video store. when we arrived at home, i fell asleep right away, haaay, sooo sleepy.

Robinsonsons Place Pioneer

last saturday, we went to the newly opened mall right beside the guadalupe bridge in edsa, Robinson's Place Pioneer. i've been so curious about that mall since i've been passing through it for the past months now and it looks so interesting so we checked it out.

how we got there. from our house we had our own ride so we just passed through edsa, then we turn right after guadalupe bridge, and had a u- turn by passing under the bridge, turning right to edsa again north bound. when we enter the mall, we didn't have to figure out where the parking lot is, because there are lots of guards on duty to attend to every customer's needs.

parking is just at the basement of the mall, very spacious and very convenient. it's not even noisy underneath nor mabaho so it's good. one more thing nice about it is that the parking is free during weekends, regardless of the time you will be there, it's free. at the parking lot, you won't feel like a stupid blind looking for the entrance to the mall door because signs are all over the place. in the entrance there's security check ofcourse, and when you enter, there were elevators to go up, so as stairs, as well as a moving platform for those who carries a baby stroller, people on a wheelchair or if you had just had a grocery, for the carts. there are restrooms and waiting benches for drivers and all, but it's just the entrance of the mall from the basement, you ain't seen nothing yet.

once you enter the mall itself, a tall and beautiful fountain will welcome you and it's amazing. although it's not the first or the best i've seen, i love water and i love the way they had the fountain right at the middle of the mall once you enter, it's like a cool welcoming of guests, haha! nianne loved it too, wanting to just jump off and swim, however people are not even allowed to touch it because of the electricity.

we first had a little stroll around the ground floor. there are lots of shops. just around a corner you can go to around 6 to 8 boutiques, and what's good thing about them is they're all unique, the stuffs they sell are one of a kind. there's this one shop that i really loved, it's called HOT 22. they just have everything girls would love. unique clothes, bags, boots, belts and more. everything on that shop is hot! i felt like i wanted to buy everything, however, i don't have the mood for shopping that day so maybe next time.

at the left side of the mall, (facing the mall from the outside) there's a big hardware store called Handyman Do It Youself ... something... we went inside and saw a lot of variety on home building stuffs. they've got everything, from the pranellas to the cabinets to the tiles and even toilet bowls. the store is complete with all the things you need, you can actually get everything you need on building a house, seriously. there are a lot of christmas decors there also, nianne loved the dancing santa claus but carlo and i find it korni! hehe.

there are just a few restaurants around, but it's great they have bacholod chicken inasal there, now we know where to go. but we decided to have dinner at chowking cause there are lots of people in bci and were starving so we can't wait. the store is cool, the kictchen is see-through on the counter, you can actually watched the cooks go crazy over preparing the foods and they're funny. but what's not funny is that we waited for the food for about 30minutes or more. but carlo is so patient, telling me that they actually cooked the food by the time we ordered it, so i said, whatever! it's a good thing the food's really warm and yummy, hay, we really are chinese dimsum freaks!

after eating we went upstairs and checked out the second floor which is not yet fully furnished by that time. the left side of the floor is not yet even cemented, so funny, it's a good thing it smells fresh around still. the movies are at the third floor but we didn't went there, planning to next time. we went to the national bookstore afterards for some things nianne needs for school and a birthday card for my dad, the store is not that big, however, but it's a good thing they've got everything we needed.

and since we need to go to the grocery that night, we decided to check out the supermarket on the mall. the supermarket there is called Robinsons Supercenter, well, it really is a supercenter, it got everything from fresh meat, fruits and vegetables, canned goods, packed foods, beauty products, magazines, kitchen utensils and home essentials, even clothes and toys. it took us one and a half hours to finish strolling around the entire place. but it's great because we had bought everything we needed and even more. the supercenter is at the ground floor, at the right side of the mall (facing the mall). we were definitely planning to go back in the future.

we spent around four hours at the mall, although we got so tired, it's great because the mall is so fresh and like a virgin, hehe. it's really great to shop at a mall like that, not too much people, it's clean, it has fresh smelling air, complete variety of needs and the twist of an awesome fountain. i've really loved robinsons malls, well, yeah, sm north edsa would still be home for me, but i can really suggest the newly opened robinsons place pioneer to all, it's a great place, not that big but they've got everything you need and that's what makes the mall experience great.
