blog week 116

i was up by 7am on monday morning. i watched some movie on video then nianne get up after an hour. i cooked breakfast after the movie, then we ate when carlo woke up. then i prepared nianne and her things for school and they left around past 11am. i just stayed home and tried to get as much sleep as i can. i just stayed at bed the whole day but was unlucky to officially sleep. by 4pm, i prepared some snack for carlo and nianne. they arrived and ate. carlo left again for some work to finish. nianne had her nap while i worked on the clothes from the laundry while cooking dinner. we had dinner around 7pm when carlo arrived then i prepared for work. carlo brought me to the office, just dropped by starbucks for some hot cappucino, i tried the one with hazel nut and it was eeewww! well anyways, it's a good thing the calls are not that much that night because i am really not feeling well because of my colds.

got a curse call on tuesday morning so i left the office by 6:15am. when i got home, i fall asleep at the living room then carlo woke me up and we had breakfast, i slept by 10am. i woke up around 1pm, i really had a hard time sleeping that day, sooo bad! well, i get up the bed around 3pm, i fixed some clothes on the closet and watched some movie on video while preparing dinner. carlo and nianne arrived before six. bry, a good friend and nianne's ninong, came over and had dinner with us. i left the house by 8pm and bry dropped me by our building. i arrived at the office around 8:30 and it was freakin freezing!!! well, i had lunch with joi at kfc, finally after a week of issue on break scheds.

had breakfast with joi after shift on wednesday morning. we went all the way to the Export Bank since we're craving for jollibee that day. we finished eating by 7am and headed home. i arrived at home by 8am and slept by 9am. unfortunately i am up by 2pm already and can't go back to sleep anymore. i get up and cooked spaghetti. carlo and nianne arrived around 4pm. they brought me to the office and arrived by 8:45pm. i found out that my new work schedule will be 11pm to 8am sat sun off. well, better than 1am right. and it's a good thing i still got the restdays that i prefered. i have this weird pain on my eyes the entire shift and oh sooo sleepy due to lack of sleep! *sigh

i needed to go on over time on thursday morning. went out of the office around 6:30am, accompanied joi to the other building and got home by 8am. i prepared breakfast for carlo and nianne and had to fix her since her schedule was early that day. they left around 9:30am. i slept by 10 am and unfortunately was up by 2pm. had late lunch with carlo and slept again when they left by around 5pm. i woke up at 8pm and rushed to prepare for work. carlo brought me to the office again, and at the office by 8:55pm. i took my first break after an hour and went to see carlo outside the building, he bought me some food from kfc for lunch. the shift was not that stressful that night, good thing. and i spent the entire time answering some surveys on friendster bulletin board! haha!

had breakfast with joe after shift on friday morning. we went to chowking at the export bank planning to eat some lauriat on breakfast, haha! but we decided not to when we got there. we headed home around 7am and i got home by 8. carlo is sooo happy with my chow fan pasalubong, haha, and i slept around 9am. woke up around 6pm and prepared dinner. went to work by 8pm but since it's friday, i was late for about 2minutes, oh no! well, it's a good night at work, only a few people around and not that much calls received.

went home straight on saturday morning. one of the supes in the office gave me a ride and dropped me by the quezon avenue station where carlo fetched me. arrived at home by 7am, prepared breakfast and left with carlo for some work for their business. we passed by my in-laws house, then we went to the mall and had carlo's watch fixed. i saw my ate bonbon (a.k.a. Catherine Howard), her friend dropped her at the mall and her mom's gonna pick her up there. well, she's a professinal ob now, i remember the days that we used to play some ghost stuffs, haha, so funny! well, carlo got his watch fixed, we had lunch at lydia's lechon at the food court, then we bought some brownies for pasalubong and went back to my in-laws house. then we brought my sister-in-law to the hospital she has a duty on, then we went to blumentrit for some tires and went home. i slept as soon as we got home, oh so tired, i was up for more than 24 hours that day!

i woke up around 7am on sunday morning. prepared breakfast right away and we ate around 8am. we started to do the laundry after eating, and just rested at home at the afternoon. we left the house around 4pm, dropped by my in-laws house then we attended mass around 4:30pm. then on our way to shopwise, we dropped by chowking and had early dinner. we we're supposed to go to garcia's for some meat but they're half day on sundays. so we just went to shopwise for the grocery. we then bumped with my tita tina, her son justin and her nephew michael. after we had the grocery, we gave them a ride to their house and tita tina gave us our late and uncalaimed christmas gifts, so, thanks tita. we went home around 10pm, just fixed the stuffs we bought, watched some movie on video and slept around1am.

movies 101

When in Rome (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen) - the movie is about a trip of the twins to rome for a summer job on an international Fashion and music company. the movie was done great. well, after seeing rome over and over gain over movies such as these, there has always been a surprise all everytime. rome was really a great place, my favorite among the places is the one with the huge fountain that serves as a wishing well, sorry, forgot what it's called. well anyways, the twins are cute, thay have delivered they're lines so perfectly and all the characters did a great job. all in all, the rank of the movie for me is a 9.

Alex and Emma (Kate Hudson and Luke Wilson) - the movie is about two people who obviously fell in-love with each other, haha! guys, it's a love story, a cute one. alex is a famous author of novels about love and all, while emma is a stenographer. oh, i took steno on senior high but we use pen and paper not the little typing machine she got on the movie, cool! anyways, this is how the story goes. alex needed to finish writing book in 30 days or else he'll get killed. so he hired a stenographer so that he could dictate it to her since his computer had gone on fire by her future killers. they had worked together and finished the book on 29 days. they fell in love and all but the ex-girlfried of alex came back trying to win him back. emma caught them having a talk over some drinks right across alex' place and she was hurt. well, alex found his ways and they kissed and make up. the twist on the movie was all around the concept that the story of the book they are working on is about alex's love and experience with his ex-girlfriend. emma's character however is introduced on the book as a househelp. well, the way the book ended is the way they ended up together also. it was nice and all, i really love kate hudson, she's so gorgeous. movie rate, 10!

My Big Fat Greek Wedding (Nia Vardalos and John Corbett) - the movie is about two different people from two different races and belong to two different families of different traditions and culture, and these two people fell in-love with each other and had true love. toula, is a woman who was raised wit all greek stuffs and was said to be destined to marry a greek and multiply and have greek children etc. while gus, an american professor, was raised simply from a small family, being the only child and oh so bored with his life until he met toula. the story went fine and cute. the family of toula is really great, and sooo funny. the part on the movie that i did liked much was the part wherein gus decided to be baptized to be an official greek and to be allowed to marry toula with the blessing of her father and the part that shows the entire clan of touls trying to help her with all the preparations and all, it was sooo nice. rating, 10!

Regular Post Innovation

since i have been oh so sipag to type in and post on my blog each and every detail of my week i have come up with another one. well, i've come up with another regular post on my blog, movies. since i have been indulging myself and my spare time out of work on reading a magazine from cover to cover and seeing a movie on video, atleast three times a week, i would love to share with you guys some review i have on these movies i have seen for a week. ok, good luck to me!

blog week 115

since i wasn't able to sleep well on sunday night, on monday morning i woke up around 7am and cooked breakfast. carlo and i ate around 8am, then he left right away for some work. i started to prepare nianne and her things for school. and by around 10am i fall asleep. i woke up around 6pm. it was a long rest but i was really feeling so darn sick that's why. prepared dinner, ate, then prepared for work and arrived at the office by 8:40pm. not much calls received that night! thank you lord! i was really not feeling well but had managed to walked to mcdonalds by 2am for lunch! haha!

i took my last 15 minute break from work about an hour before i log out, so i was able to went home straight by 6 on tueday morning. carlo fetched me at the station, we went home, he prepared breakfast, while i watch some movie on video. we ate some yummy danggit and nianne woke up while we were eating. she took her medicine and just finished the movie on video, then she had her breakfast afterwards. i slept around 10am, just when carlo started to work with nianne on her homeworks. i woke up around 6pm, carlo and nianne arrived a couple of minutes after. then i cooked dinner, yummy beef with mushroom. then we ate by 7:30 and i fixed myself for work. i am suffering from a pain on my urinary track again so i planned not to attend to work and informed my supe. but i cannot contact the workforce department so i decided to just go. carlo brought me to the office, i arrived by 8:53pm and started the nine hour shift again. joi is back from her batangas get away, had some naughty chat with her, and oh, thanks for the pasalubong!

went home just in time on wednesday morning. i took a cab on my way home from the station and it's really pissed me off, finding out that the side walk was closed and that i needed to walk like 50 meters just to get a ride. well, i managed to got home and saw carlo taking a nap at the coutch. he left for work after less than an hour, while i watched my big fat geek weeding on video and it was great, i'll make a separate post for that. nianne woke up around 9am, took her medicine and watched the movie with me. after the mivie i cooked breakfast and prepared nianne's snacks for school. carlo arrived after a few minutes and then we ate together. after eating i slept, that was around 10am. i woke up around 6pm and get up around 7 and cooked dinner. we ate around 7:30, then i went to work and arrived by 8:45. it was another nine hour at the office but it's just a few of us there. the calls were line wow, they're a lot and never ending so i got sooo sooo tired!

on thursday morning, i accompanied my good friend joi on trying to get herself drunk and forget for a while some heartache by her boyfriend, haha! we went to dencio's in paseo center, me, joi and janice, joi tried to get herself drunk while janice and i had breakfast, we had some yummy crispy pata, calamares and some green mango with bagoong! yum! yum! well, after three hours of blah blah and food joi headed to nell's place where she is going to stay for a few days, and the proof of drinking four bottles of beer is hugging me at the middle of valero road saying a never ending thank you! hahaha! janice and i headed home, i met up with carlo at the santolan train station, that was around 10am. we went to pasig for some work for him. i helped him fix some papers with the registry of deeds, then sneaked and tried to shop for some bamboo side tables which he didn't like. hay nako! then we dropped by some kfc for lunch on our way to camp aguinaldo lto, i slept the whole time and skipped lunch on our way there. we met up with my mother-in-law there to fix some papers. then we went home. i took a bath then nianne and i slept around 6pm. i did not went to work that night because nianne is sick so i needed to attend to her. i woke up around 11pm and had dinner with carlo. officially went to bed around 1am.

i woke up by 6am on friday morning, watched some movie on video and cooked breakfast. we had breakfast and we decided to just let nianne go to school, thinking that she's already feeling well and it's not good that she had missed a long test on thursday. we just dropped by my in-laws house before bringing her to school, then we went to some lto in la loma. then we dropped by some furniture shop in dapitan st. and they've got it all for the house, it's just not good that the theme of our home doesn't match the things that they sell there so i only got a fancy wall clock for nianne. after there we went to fetch nianne. then we went to my in-laws house to change cars and hurried to another lto, but it's already closed so there's no work done. anyways nianne's still sick so i didn't went to work again. we slept around 10pm.

saturday morning i get up by 7am and watched some movie on video. after that i started to remove and fix some christmas decors on the house and cleaned the front door. then i prepared breakfast and we ate when carlo and nianne woke up by 10am. then we left the house and accompanied my mother-in-law for her ear check up at the manila doctor's hospital. we dropped her by the hospital and while waiting for her we went to roxas boulevard and ate some ice cream by the bay view park. we stayed there for less than an hour and left because we got hungry, hehe. we went to a greenwich near the hospital and got some pasta, then we fetcher my mother-in-law back and went home to their place. we dropped by a bike store and had my sister's bike fixed, went to the grocery and went home. carlo and nianne had dinner while i took a bath and we slept around 10pm.

on sunday morning i was up by 6am. watched some movie by the olsen sisters on video, while nianne woke up after an hour. she played with her bike at the tennis court for an hour and a half while i cook breakfast. we ate when carlo woke up and started to work on the house. carlo did the laundry while i had a general cleaning at the second floor. we finished by 1pm and had late lunch by 2pm. then we prepared ourselves and went to the fort for some meeting of the kia pride club. we arrived at the place a little before 5pm. nianne was sleeping at the car at first, then woke up and had some snacks at mcdonalds. we left around 6pm and went to the near Market! Market! i'll make a separate post for my review. anyweiz, we left the place by 9pm and dropped by my in-laws house before heading home. we had dinner at home and slept by 10pm.

this was really a busy week again, but it's a bad thing nianne got sick. this is because of the weather i think.

blog week 114

i am feeling oh so damn lazy the past week. i woke up late, around 10am on monday morning. prepared breakfast right away had to prepare nianne for school. they left a little before 12 noon. i stayed home since i really feel i need to get some more sleep so that i wouldn't be drowsy at work. carlo arrived around 2pm, he woke me up, just dropped by the house checking if i am still in good breathing, haha. he left right away and fetch nianne from school, they arrived before 6pm. we had dinner, then carlo just decided to bring me to the office so they did. i arrived at work by 8:30pm, had a little talk with the people around and just went through another 8 hours of talking and talking and talking again, hahaha!

i went home right away on tuesday morning, i remember logging out by 6:03am. i arrived at the station a little before 7, carlo's already there. when we got home, we layed beside nianne and just suddenly fall asleep. i woke up around 2pm, i watched Duplex and My Sassy Girl on video (thanks joe, mwah!), then i prepared dinner around past 6pm. we had dinner by 7, then i arrived at the office by 8:45. a lot of calls poured in again. and i had a bad shot with my supe, asking me and joi to stop having our lunch together at the same time, haha! well anyways, everything went fine afterwards.

on wednesday morning i went home right away. i arrived at the train station before 7am and carlo was already there. we dropped by my in-laws house, he was supposed to get the car he needed to bring to some office for checking of some sort, but the things he would be needing are not yet fixed so we just left and he decided to just go back after breakfast. when we got home, i took a nap and carlo left around 8am. i woke up around 9:50, had nianne take her medicine and prepared breakfast. nianne ate around 10:30 and after eating i prepared her for school. carlo arrived with one of their househelps, gary, and they had breakfast. they all left around 11:30am then i started sleeping. i woke up when carlo and nianne arrived around 5pm, carlo had to leave again to get his car from the other garage. i prepared dinner around 6pm and we had dinner around 7, then i prepared for work. i arrived at the office around 8:50pm. it was really tiring the entire night, the calls were really a lot! i really felt that dryness on my throat a few hours before my shift ended. wow.

so unlucky, i didn't went home right away thursday morning. i had a very long call that had ended around 6:40am, carlo was already calling me the whole time. i went home feeling oh so damn tired! i slept around 9am. i woke up just when nianne kissed me, and that was after more than ten hours! i get up the bed 7pm, did prepared dinner right away, we ate then i prepared for work. i really did expect to be late that night, i took a bus from buendia station to the office and the bus was like wanting to get all the people they can see on the streets! well, i was just on time, i arrived at the office by 8:50pm. it was really a good thing that the volume of calls are really that low, so i was not that so pissed off, joke! and it's an early pay once more! haha!

went home straight on friday morning, feeling sooo sick. i slept right away when i got home, i was supposed to accompany nianne to school in the afternoon since it's their school fair, but i was oh si sick to do so, i just continued sleeping. i woke up around 6pm, prepared dinner and ate after an hour. carlo brought me to the office since he can really sense that i am really oh so stressed. i had to rest from taking calls for about two hours, i attended a training for delivering bad news just before my lunch so i had a little so called rest.

i spent about an hour more in the office before going home on saturday morning. i had to work on some changes on my blog template, which is something that i'm not that happy with, but let's see. i went home around 7am. i took a cab from the station to the house since carlo isn't there yet and i am sooo tired to wait for him. when i got home, i prepared breakfast, then i took a nap for about an hour. then we went to the furniture shop beside the subdivision, and i got a dresser set for our room, and a side table/ cabinet for nianne. we got home then i took a nap again, i woke up when the stuffs were delivered around 3pm. then carlo and nianne prepared themselves, we left around 5pm. we dropped by my in-laws house, ate at pares, then went to garcia's for some meat. we finished at garcia's around 8pm, then went to cherry foodaram for some more groceries. then we just got some movie from the video store and went home around 10pm. we watched a movie and slept around 1am.

we were planning to wake up early on sunday morning and rent some bike at the qc memorial circle, but we woke up late. i am really feeling oh so sick. i get up the bed around 11am. just had to hung dry the clothes carlo had laundried, and prepare lunch. after lunch, i slept again. i woke up around 7pm. that day was really a waste of time, sleeping. then we had dinner and went to my lolo's house for a visit. we left there around 10pm and went to the video store for some movies and went home. we slept around 1am.

this week is really oh so stressful. there were a lot of pressure in the office, a lo9t of people are not coming to work, a lot of calls are really pouring in non-stop, a lot of problems still unresolved, and my q.a. is really cursing a lot, no idea why. i really feel sooo sick i wasn't even able to enjoy my restdays since i had spent the entire time sleeping. but i still feel i still need a lot of rest. good luck for next week!

Since carlo and i got married and had transfered to our own home, we have been searching for a dog that would serve as another memeber of the family, and at the same time, a funiture for the house, haha!

We have been looking for an Afgan Hound (click on the name to view picture). But the only option we have to get one, is ny ordering one over the internet, and paying all the shipping cost and taxes it all takes, since as according to what we found out, the breed is not available in the country. And we really don't want to take the risk and let the dog suffer that much, travel half the world 16 hours, not even sure if he's taken cared of well.

So, i would like to call the attention of everyone. If there's anyone there who happened to know anybody selling or even breeding a plain white or a plain black afgan hound, please let us know. we really want it! well, if in any case that it's really impossible for that breed to live here in our blessed country, our second option is a Blood Hound (click on the name to view picture), a brown one, an example is the one from the movie Sweet Home Alabama, Reese Witherspoon . . . So, anyone, please, just let us know... thanks much!

New Year Plans ...

since it's another new year ahead all of us, and everyone has been talking about new year's resolutions and all that, i am going to share my part. however, i cannot come up with any New Year's Resolution, since i don't think i have anything to resolve in my life and the way i live. i am very much blessed right now, so spare me to just give you a list of my my plans for the coming new year. this will serve as a preview on what are the things carlo, nianne and i all have in mind, things we are planning to do, places we are planning to go, stuffs we are planning to buy, and some plans on how are we going to celebrate occassions to come. here it goes ...

to start of, these are some of the things we are really planning to do, one is more quality time with each other. since carlo is always busy being as helpful as he could be on their family business, and nianne is in school 75% of the time, and that i am awake while they are sleeping, we all realized that this year should be a year of more time with the family- for the family. second is that we are planning to go on more vacations and out of town trips. since my pto credits are now back to 20, we have all the time in the year to plan on when and where to go, good luck to us!

next are the places that we are planning to go. well for the coming summer, we are planning to go back to a beach in la union where we went to last year. it's in San Fernanado La Union and you would be needing to spend like five hours to get there, but it's really worth the trip. the moment we left the place last year, we really had swear to each other we will definitely go back, so we will. aside from that, we are planning to have a three day vacation in baguio. we had been there ofcourse but it has always been for a day, and the only things we have done are, a boat ride and some shopping for pasalubong. well definitely, this year, we are going back, and we are going to have a simple but complete trip all around. and lastly, we are planning to go to Puerto Gallera. maybe well have the celebration of our first year anniversay there, oh i'm excited.

we are definitely planning to complete the furnishing of our little home this year. so first on our list of things to buy are things we wanted to have for the house. we were really planning to buy a new television set before christmas, but since it has been a busy season for us, we failed to take time and look for one. we are buying the 29" Samsung CT-29V10MQ, hopefully before the month of january ends. next, we are planning to buy three side tables, two for our room and one for nianne's room. we are still on the process of hunting some, since i am so maarte about it. well, hoping to see a good one soon. we have been looking for a good, big and spacious shoe rack for our shooooeeesssss! haha! they are basically just arranged by the stairs, but i'm not satisfied seeing them that way, and i haven't seen a shoe rack that i really want so, hoping to get one that's perfect for the space i want it to be in, and for the amount of shoes it will contain. aside from those, we wanted to buy a see through cabinet for the gifts we received on our wedding. we would like to some kinda display them in a nice way, on a nice place. and aside for the things we wanted for the house, there are other things we are planning to buy for ourselves. first, we are planning to buy a 15-inch PowerBook G4 from apple by mac. we basically need a computer in the house. something that we really own, so that we don't need to go to my mom's house and use our computer there, we are planning to buy one for ourselves, and we want this one. hey calling on our auntie ninang emy! haha! hey tita ... it's just $2000, thanks in advance! haha! ok, now let's go back to things that we really can buy for this year.. haha! carlo and i can really feel that our phones are already retiring. they're funny nowadays. cellphones for both of us are really no big deal. for as long as we can still text and call each other we are ok. but since we really need to replace the phones that we are using now, and we don't have any choice but to get a new one, we are planning to buy either a Sony Ericsson P800, or a Samsung SGH- P400. we have always wanted to have a P900, but after seeing all the inclusive features on it, it's too much for our simple lifestyle. so we made up our minds, carlo will probably buy a P800, and i'll have the P400, were planning to buy those phones by the end of the year maybe, after we finish some of the other expenses.

with regard to celebrating coming occassions, we have simple plans. first is the graduation of our one and only precious princess from preschool. this is really something since it's her first graduation in her life, haha! we were just planning to eat out after the ceremony, a lunch or dinner maybe, depending on the schedule, just the three of us. the other plan is to treat our immediate family out, but carlo disapproved that already, well, we might just invite our family over, and have some lunch/dinner at home. well, it basically depends on the circumstances that day. after that, we are plannig to have a party for carlo's 25th birthday. it's basically a quarter of a century for him, it's his first birthday on our home, and he had not been celebrating his birthday for like five years now, so this time, we will definitely celebrate and everyone's invited! haha! next will be nianne's birthday, which is also my birthday, haha! were just planning to treat our family out to dinner, the place is still yet to be decided. then maybe nianne will celebrate her birthday in school, and i'll just bring some food in the office as expected, what else! next will be our first year wedding anniversary! *wink! we are planning to go to Puerto Gallera or somewhere, and since we didn't find the time to have a honeymoon last year, this will definitely be it! haha!

last year has been a great year for all of us, the best year for me so far. i am very much excited for the coming year, and we are definitely planning a lot, wish me luck! (",)

as you have read from my previous post, carlo and i watched Blade Trinity last friday. one word to describe the movie, awesome! we had seen the first two parts of the movie, Blade and Blade II, and we can definitely spot the difference and the big improvements on it. after seeing the third part, you'll find the first two parts so plain, simple, boring and all that.

Blade Trinity is so explosive, literally. all of the scenes would definitely make you fall off from your seat. the effects were very much planned, designed and made like real, so real. it's like watching the movie in 3D effects and would make you feel like being on the location as a part of it. innovation on the present technology was very much proven. you could set a lot of comparison when it comes to improvement on digital effects and all that. being obvious is none on the movie's vocabulary. the colors are blended well, technical stunts doesn't differ from the real stunts done by real people. well, i may sound so amazed, i am, seeing the improvement of how the movie was made from the beginning and seeing this now, it's a wow!

the cast is superb. i salute the people behind all the decisions on choosing the people to play the part of each of the characters on the movie.

• well, to start of, Wesley Snipes who was always great. it's "the arrive" which made everything oh so good! the way he walks, the way he holds his sword, the way he speaks, just the way he portrayed the character of blade is great. one thing that i just notice is the inconsistency of his character. before, on the first two parts, he has a part of himself that is some kinda funny, he even cried on the first part, but here, he is just damn serious about everything, well anyways, it doesn't matter, he's still great, haha!
• it's already proven that Ryan Reynolds is for comedy. he is funny in all the scenes he have on the movie, none of his dialogues are basically simple, every single word he'll crack out is funny at a point. however he had changed a lot physically, i did not realized that he is the very in demand "van wilder", haha! well, i believe this man would come a long way, not just as a comedian, but as an actor. it's just oh so funny that the people inside the movie house watching with us are not even reacting on how funny his character and his dialogues are, i kept on asking carlo, are they really paying attention or are the people just simply watching. i was simply laughing everytime ryan reynolds would spit a word, but the people around us just can't get the idea ... hmmm i wonder why .. haha!
• the first person that came to my mind when i saw her was jennifer garner ... what a hell, she is really gorgeous. well, she is so young and so angelic faced for an alias in that case, Jessica Biel. i had never seen her from anywhere, she's the girl from 7th heaven i know, but sorry i never got to watch that, well, i regret that, i will definitely start hunting for those movies that she is a part of.
• the grandpa, Kris Kristofferson, the only character aside from Blade himself, which is included on each part. well, he is really an immortal, remember he already died on part I, and on this one he's introduced driving a truck, haha! well, age doesn't really matter, he is really something. wihtout him i know the film would not be complete.

the movie's story has been consistent from the start. the concept of being able to destroy each and every vampire in the world, the search for the easiest way to do it, and the quest for the origin of them has been the reason behind all these. on this part they have introduced Draculla, a modern one however, a modern draculla that runs away from blade, a unique draculla that could stand ok even under direct heat of sunlight, although it was explained on the movie that he was the origin, the first of a kind so he some kinda got all the powers including the ability for that, well, if not for the fact that draculla is really handsome, his part would've been korni, haha!

i was never a fan of these animation and make believe stories, you guys know that. i would prefer watching an oh so serious melodrama love story over Lord of the Rings. but this one's different. it's a movie that me and my carlo find interesting, and it really is worth our time, effort and money. great job for all the cast, the directors and the writers of the movie, especially to all the animators and programmers that worked behind all the cameras and made everything oh so awesome. however, the movie is still some kinda incomplete within our understanding. carlo and i had kept on analyzing if this would be the last part or the first part of the finale or whatever. as the subtitle says ... the final hunt begins ... so it's the final hunt so maybe it's the last part, or maybe it's just the beginning of the part wherein they'll focus on the final hunt, or maybe because they have already killed all the vampires including the origin, draculla, it maybe is the final one. well, no matter what, this may not be the ending or something, it is an awesome movie and that says it all.

blog week 113

this is the first week of work for me for a new year, it's my 13th week on my online diary already, i know, 13 is a number of curse and all those kamalasan, but then, this is how my week turned out ...

on monday i woke up around 8am, i was awaken by a screaming "tao po" outside, when i answered back, it was actually the househelp of my mom, calling me for a phone call. so i got up and answered the call, it was my mom, asking me to wait for my brother's arrival from the camping and pay for the taxi he's riding on, wow!, she didn't even greeted me good morning! well, i went to the house with my eyes, mind and spirit half sleeping, after the conversation, it shocked me that my mom got a new househelp again! ok, again! anyways, i went back the house and slept at the sofa, carlo left after a few minutes and i woke up from the nap around 10am, my brother's not yet there. i woke nianne up, prepared breakfast and prepared her stuffs for school. when i had my breakfast my brother arrived, i gave some food for him, then we left and brought nianne to school. carlo then dropped me at the mall to pay for the electric bill but the line was hopeless so i just asked him to fetch me and pay it somewhere else. he fetched me, dropped me at the salon and i had my nails done. carlo fetched me before 3pm then we went and fetched nica. i went to see her teacher too but i cannot find her so we just headed home, angel, nianne's cousin came with us since she got a lot of stuffs with her which will definitely not fit on the school service. we went home, i prepared merienda for nianne, i folded the clothes we laundried while nianne is eating. i prepared dinner afterwards, carlo and i had dinner by 6pm, then i took a nap around 6:30 to 7:30, i prepared for work, then arrived at the office by 8:35pm. not much calls received since it's still a holiday in the states.

i went home straight tuesday morning, but since i ran out of battery again, i took a cab from the station to the house. when i got home, carlo's waiting for me at the living room already. we just shared some stories and i fall asleep at the coutch. he woke me up around 8am and brought me upstairs. i continued sleeping and woke up around 4pm. i started preparing beef nilaga for dinner, carlo and nianne arrived around6, we ate around 7pm. i prepared for work and got in the office by 8:40. the volume of calls were like a storm that's "pabugso- bugso", a lot of calls came in, i had my share to have 67 calls that night.

on wednesday morning i went home right away. i called my mom's house and ask the househelp to wake carlo up since i cannot contact his phone. he called me right away and i said i'm on my way home. he fetched me at the station, when we got home, i slept right away. he woke me up around 11am, we bought nianne to school and on our way there, i put on make-up on her since it's their graduation picture taking. i went to speak to her teacher regarding the tutor we are requesting for her, we basically could not find the time to teach her ourselves anymore, that's why. after speaking with her teacher, we passed by my in-laws house to check if there's anything carlo needed to do, but theres none. then carlo asked me to go with him to the mall first. we went to the mall and had a food trip, we had cheesedog waffles, mango shake, adobo chips and more. we gor a key holder from the bazzar at the ground floor, and we bought nianne a kamison shorts, some boxer shorts and a bath robe. we went to look if there's some bicycle there, since we are also planning to buy her one. we went to fetch her around 3pm. i confirmed with her teacher that her tutorial would officially start the following day, thursday. we headed home after that, carlo left while nianne and i slept. carlo woke me up around past 7pm, we had dinner then i prepared for work. i managed to arrived early enough but the line for the security check was sooo long enough to freak me out and make me oh sooo worried i would be late! well, i managed not to be, i logged in 8:55. the calls were not that tight but they're a lot. it's a good thing there's no part of the entire shift that i felt sleepy! haha!

i stayed for a couple of hours in the office after shift on thursday morning. Joi and i planned to see a movie so we need to wait until the mall's opening. around 8am, we decided to go and have breakfast, we went to the enterprise center for jolibee, but the store's still closed, so we just took a ride to the train station in ayala. we had breakfast at kfc, and spent one and a half hours of non stop stories and laughter. we left a little before 10am and took the train to megamall. at the guadalupe station the train stopped and had experienced some technical problem, we waited for about 20 minutes and just decided to leave the train and take a bus. we arrived at the mall just in time, we first had a little walk to the third floor and got some tickets. around past 11, the movie started, we watched Happy Together, and although the movie is not that perfect and all, it's cute. i went home around 1pm, while joi stayed at the mall and waited for her raymund. i arrived home around 2pm and started sleeping. i woke up around 7pm and prepared for work. i arrived at the office as early as 8:20pm. i had dinner first before i started the shift. calls are not much that night but i am really feeling so empty that night since i don't have my phone with me, i actually failed to charge the battery of it, how useless. i went home around 2pm that day, slept and woke up around 7 and went to work. wow, just five hours of sleep good luck! well, it's a good thing i'm on leave friday so i was able to make it with four cups of coffee, haha!

i went home straight on friday morning. i bought carlo and nianne some outbox (rice on a box) for breakfast. he fetched me at the train station and we went home straight and they had breakfast while i took a nap. i woke up around 11 and we brought nianne to school. carlo and i then went to the mall and watched Blade Trinity, i'll make a different post for my reveiew on that, well anyways, it's awesome, haha! then we went back to nianne's school to fetch her and spoke to her teacher for a couple of minutes. after there we went to the lto office in qc for some work carlo needs to do. we dropped by my in-laws house, we had some talk and since the manicurist is there, i had my nails done, haha! we passed by the video store for some movies then went home around 7pm. we had dinner, then watched my boss' daughter, on video and slept around 2am.

i woke up late on saturday morning, around 1pm i guess. carlo already left for some work while nianne is just at the living room so busy watching volta on video for the third time. i prepared lunch and did some fixing in the house since my in-laws are coming over to see the house after checking out the furniture sale at the warehouse of Home Options, which is located right beside our subdivision. they bought four sets of cabinets actually. they arrived a little before 3pm, had a little tour around our little home, had some heavy merienda, watched our wedding on video, saw the pictures from the wedding, and had some talks and laughs the whole time. we left around 5pm, since they need to check if the cabinets are already delivered and since we had an appointment with nianne's doctor for her regular check-up. we were just in time when we arrived at my in-laws place. the delivery truck for the cabinets are just meters in front of us. carlo, nianne and i left there around 5:30pm, when we arrived at the doctor's clinic, we were 11th on the list, thinking that the clinic's schedule is just until 6, that's a lot, we're the 31st patient already, haha! so what we did was, we went to the nearest fast food first, jollibee in that case, nianne spent time at the play area while carlo and i had dinner. we went back to the clinic around 7:30pm, had a little consultation with the doctor for about 30 minutes and left. we went to Showise cubao for some groceries. if we love garcia's for meat, i highly recommend shopwise for coldcuts. their own branded hams, hotdogs, german franks, bacons, etc., are great. well, we spent about three hours there and went home around 10:30pm. we just passed by my in-laws house first, and headed home. we watched some movie on video and slept around 2am.

carlo and nianne woke up early on sunday morning and nianne played with her bicycle while carlo accompanied her. i woke up around 11am and prepared lunch. we had lunch around 12, and then went to my in-laws house to sell some cars, hehe. while carlo is busy entertaining customers on the garage, nianne and i were inside watching blade I. we went home around 4pm, we took a nap when we got home, carlo and nianne woke up earlier than i did, i woke up 8pm, and prepared dinner. after dinner, we just dropped by the video store for some movies again and went home. nianne slept beside us, as scheduled, we first had some pillow fight and a lot of laughter before sleeping, that was around 12.

it was really a great, happy, busy week for me as usual, however there's something that had happened that made this week a "malas" week. carlo and i had a misunderstanding on wednesday night. i didn't went home straight on thursday morning, as you have read, haha! i actually needed time to breathe and unwind by seeing a movie with a friend. i didn't speak to him the entire thursday. until that night, he called my friends in the office, asking them to ask me to call him and that it's urgent. i left my phone at home so i used the phone of one of the supes. when i called him, he said that the emergency was that he missed me so badly, ouch. i missed him too. well, what i did was, i surprised him by filing a leave from work to be with him on friday, remember, we watched blade trinity as a make up. well, what does matter is that we're ok now and the love we have for each other bloomed more. we haven't had a misunderstanding such as this for a long time now, well, special thanks to the people who got involved, joi, wacks, jackie, sybil, thanks guys! and to my mahal, i love you! mwah!

It's funny that people get into relationships that they know are wrong and inappropriate in the first place. They allow themselves to be driven by passion. Reason is overpowered by irritational judgement. They soon find themselves enggaged in a web of deceit, guilt and bitter regret. Since i have a huge volume of friends crying out to my shoulders all the pain they have with their other behalf, this one's for you.

Goodbye 2004, the best year for me so far ...

another year have been, 365 days of life and living life. however, i may say that this year was the best year for me so far.

on January, my dad got married to a woman he had loved for more than five years now. i am really so happy for him, i know that life isn't that simple and all and someone should have someone to be with, share life with and to grow old with. i am so happy that my dad had finally found that someone he is really destined to love. i thank tita Rea for giving my daddy back his life and for making him complete.

February is a month where i got a lot from school. i had completed writing our thesis for our Business System; was invited to write an article for our college paper, LiteHaus; had developed a website for Tandang Sora National High School, and won User's Choice Award on the Website Exhibit done on the school campus; i was awarded outstanding student of the year, consistent Dean's Lister, a Leadership Award, and an Academic Excellency Award.

on March, i had my first job application, my first job interview, and i had my first job in my life officially. i started working as a Customer/ Technical Support eRep for Earthlink Web Hosting, a client of our company PeopleSupport, march 16 to be exact. i am very much aware that employment on our country is really hard, and i feel so lucky to have been accepted right away. it's really a blessing.

we had a great vacation getaway on April. we went to a white sand beach called Sea Park Beach Resort in San Fernando La Union over the Holy week. the beach was sooo cool! it is really worth the trip. the trip going to La Union is basically five hours. all of the beaches there are fully booked, we cannot get any cottages, not even rooms to stay in. after about two hours of search, we found this very beautiful beach. the sand is basically white, the cottage we stayed in was just 20 meters away from the water itself and the design of the entire place is so nice which will make you feel boracay or bohol. we stayed there for two days. after that we went to baguio and spent an entire day around, shopping for food and stuffs. it was a great vacation for us, it's the first time we had a trip like that as a family. were planning to do it again this summer.

technically, i am already a college graduate on march, but officially, i graduted on May, the 28th day to be exact, it was held at the Philippine International Convention Center. it was a great event seeing all the graduates from all 20+ colleges of STI in the metro. the feeling of actually walking on the march, going up the stage, accepting your diploma, shaking the hand of the CEO and taking pictures of yourself on a nice dress and a black toga on top of it all. the faith you have in yourself would bloom more confidence, feeling proud that you have already completed 15 years of school, wahoo!

after four years of living with my in-laws and being fed through the hands of my mother-in-law. carlo, nianne and i had managed and moved out of their place on the 2nd of June. my mom actually had offered to give us my apartment and we decided that it's about time. thinking that carlo and i have our own regular income and all that, well, we love each other, we love our family so we know we can make it, and we are actually are doing well up to this day.

one of the most important day in my life happened on July, this is the most special month of the year for all of us actually. carlo's birthday is on the 10th, nianne and my birthday is on the 22nd, while our anniversary is on the 23rd, and our wedding happened on the 31st. we have been planning for the wedding since before nianne was born. however, since carlo and i would like everything to happen on the right time, place and order so we waited. well, it's worth the wait, the event that was planned and prepared for more than three months was a success. an event that touched the hearts of our family and friends, an event that we would treasure and keep.

when we moved in to our new home, we didn't manage to furnish the house and all that at first, we were all busy for the wedding that's why. however on August, we had finally completed the furnitures we needed, but the designing, as we all know is a never ending process. haha!

a new innovation on my technical life happened on September. aside from the fact that my frienster account had boomed continuously, i started doing a blog, a journal which serves as my online diary. it's kinda cool because i actually write just everything that's happening to me everyday, i post stuffs regarding how i feel and how think of something, just about anything that i thought, without knowing who would be the people to read them... cool! aside from the blog, i had developed another website for myself. but this time, it's a website all about me, meaning ALL! another good thing about this site is that it's open over the web for everyone to see. this site i may say is my official one, though it's still in the process of completion until today.

a blessing had come to the Aladin Family on October. my sister by my dad was born, her name is Alexa Guillen. what's sooo funny about this baby is that she looks like me a lot! looking at her is like staring in front of the mirror seeing myself on a smaller version. she is so adorable!

two of my bestfriends in life are Erin and Cris. we've known each other forever since we are childhood friends and all that. they are even my bridesmaids on my wedding. well, on November they broke the news to me that they gave birth! i was shocked, come to think that they're both five months pregnant on my wedding day and they didn't even tell the bride. well, the're just scared of sermon that's why. basically, what i felt was envy. we saw each other on new year's day, they were both carrying their babies and i cuddle no one, nianne is already a bata! erin got a baby boy named Danielle, while cris got a baby girl named Franchezca, that's her second already by the way, the first one is Tyrone. well, babies are blessing. it's just so funny to think that generation today are really a generation of young, beautiful moms! but no matter what, we'll always be here for each other, with or without a baby!

i practically grew up without even seeing my one and only uncle (father side) in person. but after 19 years of being based in australia, my tito jesse came home and i saw him personally for the first time on December. it's cool, it's as if my dad is also around since the sound of their voices were just the same, and the best thing about that was that it made my lolo very happy, and we all enjoy each other's company all the time.

this year had basically changed my life a lot. i am going to face the new year with a stable job, being happily married, and living with my loved ones on our own place, on our own way, and that i am just simply happy!

i was sooo lucky to be on leave on both christmas and new year seasons and be with my family. since i had already shared with you, how did i spent christmas, i am going to tell you how my new year's celebration went out ...

december 30 was the first day of preparation for all of us. we first went to garcia's meatshop, we bought all the stuffs that we will be needing for the medya noche, and to make our freezer filled with food for the coming new year. we also got some meat my mother-in-law needs. after there we accompanied her to quiapo to buy some hamon and stuffs. i accompanied her whila carlo and nianne stayed inside the car. we first went to a store called Excellente, they sell different types of fiesta hams and coldcute, they even have castañas there. it was a shock to me to see all the scattered peices of ham on an aluminum table, people kept on touching each of it in search for the best ham of their choice. i know that if carlo have seen that, he will never even dare to eat it. what's more unusual there is that, those ham were not even cheap at all, the cheapest was 600 bucks! wow! the so called queso de bola there is also sold the same price. anyways, seeing all the people in line with their sweats screaming out their orders and all, it's a proof that the fiesta ham is a tradition for each table of the filipino people to comple te the medya noche. well, next stop in quiapo is the Vienna Bakeshop for some bread and pastries. my mother-in-law was originally looking for the big pandesals which were already sold out, so she just bought some hopia, and some huge breads i forgot how they are actually called. after that we passed through a merchandise store, looking for a wooden steamer, since were planning to make siomai, but we just ended up buying some aluminum pans. and since the volume of people at the place had doubled, we decided to go back to the car and leave the things we have first. but since carlo is already asking for us to leave and go home, we forgot to go back and buy some castañas and vegetables. we bought her home, then we headed to super sales club to complete the grocery list.

on december 31, we did a general cleaning of the house on the morning, and i started to prepare food on the afternoon. i cooked, baked macaroni, mixed vegetables with missing quail eggs, and lumpiang shanghai. however aside from those, we have fiesta ham, rice, 6 pieces of apples, and six pieces of oranges on the table for dinner. we invite my mom for dinner that night, because she'll be spending new year's eve alone since kevin is out for some camping somewhere. well, we had dinner sround 7pm, had a little talk on somethings, then my mom kissed us good night and went home around 9pm. we left the house around 10:30pm, leaving all the lights open for all the rooms, scattered coins all over the house, and some 500 bills on the bed for good luck. we spent the new year's eve on my in-laws house, a thing we've been doing for the past 5 years. there were a lot of food on the table, we got some barbecue, spaghetti, mechado and a lot more. there were a lot of fireworks as usual, it actually took them more than five hours to finish all of them, well, it's a good thing everyone's fingers are still complete, hehe.

we woke up so late on new year's day, we didn't managed to have lunch on my lolo's house as we planned to, we went there around 3pm already, we had some chocolates for merienda, and some talk as usual. i went to my childhood friends, who are also neighbors, i went to check out their babies. we had a little merienda over erin's place, she, me and crisselda with their babies, i really feel so envy over the fact that they are both carrying babies and my baby is already a bata! well, we had a little kwento, about my work and the stuffs i do with it, then i left around 5pm and went back to my lolos house. we just watched tv a little and left around 7pm. we went to my in-laws house, there was actually a little reunion to be held with carlo's aunt and her family. they had dinner there and we had some exchange gifts afterwards.

my celebration for the new year is basically simple as compared to my christmas celebration, but i should say that the season was really great. Happy New Year and i wish you all good luck!

blog week 112

It's a whole new year again. i'm sooo excited on what's instore for me this year, but let's be realistic, i'll tell you what happened last week! haha!

carlo woke up early on monday morning, he left because of some work to do, wherein he actually have forgotten that's it's holiday! haha! i woke up around 9am, i had some cleaning on the house, i prepared lunch, then we had lunch at 1pm, when carlo arrived. after eating nianne and i took a nap while carlo worked on the wiring on his car. we woke up around 5pm, then carlo and i did the laundry. just a tip, try doing the laundry with your love, it's actually a good bonding! haha! after that we had dinner and i prepared for work. we left the house by 8 and i arrived at the office by 8:44pm. not much calls received that night, so it's not that tiring at the office. joi is sooo sick that night, but she's still not quiet and still, haha!

i wasn't able to went home straight on tuesday morning. first i got a long call that lasted for about until 6:30am, then i accompanied joi at mcdonalds to buy breakfast for her raymund. on our way back to the building, we bumped with aleck and she decided to give us a ride to the mrt station and we did. i took the train at buendia station and carlo managed to still fetch me even if it's already passed 7am and he's included on the color coding scheme. by the time we arrived home, topy, one of his friends on the club arrived. he is buying a car and he actually asked carlo to accompny him, trusting his expertise! haha! they left the house right away without managing to have breakfast first, well due to excitement i guess, so i just started sleeping beside nianne, who is still asleep that time. i woke up when carlo arrived around 10am, then i slept again. i actually get up the bed every two hours or so to pee, well, i dunno, i'm not feeling well that's why. i get out of bed officially around 6pm and started to prepare dinner. carlo and nianne arrived and we had dinner before 7pm. nianne just made kalat some of her toys while carlo and i were just stuck on the news about the tidal wave that attacked southeast asia. we left the house around 8:10pm and i arrived at the office by 8:45pm. not much calls received that night, but i am really feeling do damn lazy and all. we had mcdonalds at the office right just when my shift started, courtesy of our supe, and joi and i had kfc on lunch with her friend nell, got rhumba creame from starbucks also for some strength, which basically didn't work at all.

i was able to logout from the office on time on wednesday morning, however, i had a little talk with wacks regarding his warning problem, then headed home. carlo didn't fetched me at the station because of my battery problem whatelse. when i got home i slept right away. i woke up around 1pm, when carlo arrived then we had lunch together. when they left at 2pm i went back to sleep. i woke up around 5pm again when they came back, then nianne and i slept again. i woke up around 6pm and prepared dinner. we had dinner by 7, then carlo decided to just bring me to the ofice, since he's meeting up with bryan for nianne's christmas present. we left around 8pm and met up with bry at mcdonalds greenbelt by 8:40, he gave nianne her christmas present, then we headed to the office. i arrived just in time by 8:58pm. not much calls received again, something that is actually making us feel the season more. it was my last night for the week at the office since i'm on leave again on thursday and friday for the new year's celebration wahoo!

after my shift ends on thursday morning, i played online literati (scrabble) with joi for about until 7am, then we headed home. ayala avenue was closed that day in p[reparation for the new year's count down event the next night, so we managed to walk our ass out to the mrt station. i took the mrt while joi needed to walk acrross edsa for a bus which is more convenient for her. i arrived at the station around 8am. when we arrived home, i took a nap first while carlo and nianne had breakfast. i woke up around 11am, we went out to go to the grocery for our medya noche, sorry, hope i spelled it out right, hehe. we first dropped by my in-laws house to ask my mother in-law if she wants us to buy her anything since we're going to garcia's meatshop, then we dropped by kfc in e. rodriguez since i'm already starving and went to garcias. we got some meat but we didn't bought ham from there since there's no more choices left. we went back to my in-laws house, then we went to quiapo, we accompanied my mother in-law to buy some fiesta ham there. i accompanied her while carlo and nianne stayed inside the car. we left around 5pm, then after bringing her home, we went to super sales club to complete the groceries we need. we just dropped by the mall to have dinner, dropped by the video store for some movies and went home around 11pm. i just fixed the stuffs in the fridge, then we watched princess diaries 2 on video, then we slept around 2am.

we woke up around 11am on friday, new year's eve. carlo and i started to clean the house after brunch, then at around 3pm, i started preparing the food. i finished preparing everything around before 7pm, then i invited my mom to have dinner with us since kevin, my brother is not around and is camping somewhere over the new year celebration. we had dinner and some talk, then we finished around 9pm, my mom went back to her house and slept, while we prepare to go to my in-laws house and celebrate there. we celebrated new year's eve and had medya noche there and went home around 2am. we watched raising helen on video and went to bed afterwards.

on new year's day, we woke up around 1pm!!! can you imagine that! we actually failed to have lunch on my lolo's house in that case! well, we just had late lunch first, then we preapred ourselves and went to my lolo! we had a little merienda over some stories, then i went to the neighbor to see my childhood friends and their babies! haha! i went to crisselda's house, saw her second baby girl, then we went to erin's house who is actually playing madyong at that time, oh what a great way to start the new year. we had meriends over some talk at their place then we left around 5pm. i went back to my lolo's house then we watched some tv show over some stories. we left around 7pmand went to my in-laws house. we had dinner there then our auntie ninang lizzie and her family arrived for some simple reunion. we left around 11pm, we went home, watched some movie on video then carlo and nianne slept around 2am, while i slept around 5am.

on sunday morning we woke up around 10am. we had breakfast then did the laundry. we just basically had rested the whole day with tv, then we left by 7pm and went to megamall. we just walked around and had dinner there, then we went home around 10pm. we slept around 12.

wow, another year have been, i actually had thought of the great things that had happened to me the past year, and i'll definitely make a separate post for that, and a different post on how did my celebration of the new year went. Stay tuned!
