HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS (Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey) - a story about a journalist and an advertising agent who fell in-love with each other because of something they need to accomplish for their respective careers. andie is a writer for a column on a fashion magazine called composure. she was tagged as the "how to" girl, since she's been writing stuffs such as ... how to love your legs, how to work on your clothes, and this time, how to lose a guy in 10 days. she decided to just do it through experience, she'll be dating a guy, dump him after 10 days and write about every detail of it. on the other hand, benjamin, who is working on an advertising agency, is trying to win a deal to be the one in-charged of a diamond jewelry commercial. the bet he had with his colleagues was to make a woman fall for him and to bring her to the night of the launching party of the commercial to make him do the project. it so happened that both of them was on the same place/ bar the day they decided to start their mission, and that is where the story started. well, ofcourse at the end everything was caught and revealed yet they had realized that there is something that's more important than the things that they have achieved, which is love what else. well, i love the story, the stars, the characters, the locations, the costumes, the concept, the diamonds, the dog and just everything. can i rate this 11? hah hah!
LITTLE BLACK BOOK (Brittany Murphy) - a story about a girl who hunted all the three ex's of her boyfriend through the help of her colleagues, that she thought was concerned about her and her boyfriend's so called little black book or palm. the movie was not your typical love story, with the revelation of how modern technology could help you and destroy you as well. it had shown a clear picture of using each other's story or life to earn money and stuffs like that. i just didn't like brittany murphy here, she looks like a drug addict, a hopeless freak trying to catch her breath all the time. but the concept was really unique, and the ending was basically missing. hahhah! rated 8.
