I might not be able to update my blogger as much as I do for my Friendster blog for some restriction issues ... Well, we are using Maxthon Browser in the office (the latest version of MyIE) and blogger just won't work properly on it. So for the meantime, check my friendster blog for updates, news, happenings and stuff ... take care!

Two years ago when I started working ... my colleagues kept on asking me if I have a Friendster account. Well, I've heard about the said network since 2003, but since I was just so busy with college and taking care of my Carlo and Nianne, I was not a member until April 15, 2004.

One of my officemates, Baby Manahan, sent me an invitation to join Friendster on March of 2004 and I decided to open an account a month after that. I have learned and discovered a lot of things then. I didn't met people and make friends thru it, since all of the people on my friends list are people that I really know and am acquainted with. I was able to learn about these people's favorites and interests, and discover a lot more stuff that were usually not being discussed, or were never known between us and our friendships. I was able to get in touch with old friends I've never seen for a decade now (friends from Grade School), and realized that me and my "ex" can still be friends even through this simple deed of having each other as a friendster! ... hah hah hah!

For some of the others, friendster is just one of those things they do and surf online. But for me, it's been a great bridge to connect to people I know and know them better. I've been with friendster for two years now, and no matter how much pictures they allow you to have, now matter how many times they change their theme, and no matter how many upgrades and updates they'll have in the future, I am here to stay. Happy 2nd Anniversary my friendster! (^_^)

lat month ...

I really am so tamad to update my
blog lately. Maybe it's just because of the unbelievable heat which results to
sleepless "days" that even the air conditioner can't fight the
striking light of the sun. Or maybe just because I am really hating my new work
schedule so much that I can't make myself focus and write ... haaaayyy ... it's
been some time since I last posted and the first paragraph of this is all about
ranting ... not good! hah hah!

Anyways, last month was all about
celebration. Some of our family and friends has graduated, while here at work,
we celebrated our second anniversary and was awarded as the Call Center of the
Year for 2005! Kudos for all the hard work, overtime, sleepless nights and all
that we all have contributed for this success. Everybody sure deserve it! Good
luck for next year. (*_*)

EarthLink Manila - Call
Center of the Year (2005) Victory Party

March 12, 2006

Coco Cobanna Grill, Rockwell, Makati

ally, joi, me and my cowboy hat =)

Ok, don't get me wrong. We
were not awarded as "Call Center of the year" amongst all of the Call
Centers here in our country, no. We are awarded as the Call Center of the year,
amongst all of the Call Centers all over the world who handles EarthLink
accounts. (for those who are not with the call center industry, sorry for the
terms, just email me, or post your questions on the comments part, hahah!). And
among all of them, PeopleSupport/EarthLink Manila won
the prestigious award. Because of this, EarthLink
management was just oh so kind enough to throw a party for us, the people behind
the success, in celebration and in gratitude for all the hard work we've shared.

We arrived at the place
around 8pm, and as usual, our team was the first few people who arrived at the
place. There wasn't any formal program at all, but food and drinks are
everywhere. Since Joi had a shift that night, we had to leave by 11pm. That was
after having crispy pata, calamares, cheesesticks with wasabe
sause, sizzling prawns, sisig, and a glass of Frozen Margarita Lime.
(^_^)

Again, my Congratulations to
us, EarthLink Manila for everything we've done for
the team and it's success, keep up the good work!

EarthLink
WebHosting Team 2nd Anniversary

March 25, 2006

Carafe, Splendido Suites

1-me, joi and rye (lasing na, hahah) 2-The
Var! 3-gwen, joi and me 4-the newest batch, Batch 14!

The party was held on a
little bar/cafe at the ground floor of Splendido Suites in Makati. When we
arrived, I really thought that the venue wasn't nice until we got to the private
function area that the team had rented for the event. It was really cool! It got
literally everything that the team wanted for a "real"
party/celebration, after all, we deserve all of it, hahah! The room has a bar, a
stage, a videoke area, some couch, chairs and tables to make us
comfortable, a DJ booth and restrooms, all on the same room! We all loved it!
The stage was perfect for the program we had (kudos to Kiko
and Joel for doing a great job as hosts, you two
have a future believe me, hahah!). The entire place was just enough for everyone
to sit and enjoy their drinks and meal, and the videoke room was just the
best! hahahah! We were all able to sing our heart out and try to beat each other
on high notes and scores! The food was nice too. Although it's just unusual that
everyone thinks that all the food were spicy except from the rice, hahah! All in
all, the party was the best party (so far) the team has ever attended. And to
the management, especially to Myke Solis who was
the punong abala for all these, I salute you guys! Sana ganito lagi!
hahahahah!

And to the rest of the team,
it's been two years, yes. Two years of working, being employed, paying taxes and
sleeping during the day. Two years of friendship, laughter, tears, hello's and
goodbye's, two years of being together. I feel so blessed that the Lord made it
possible for me to meet and be with all of them, all of you guys. You were no
longer JUST my colleagues, you are my friends, friends that I wish I've met
earlier in my life. We have come a long way already. Seeing how much our client
have given us all the work, the entire account, the trust, nothing compares to
the talent every single eRep have and shared. Thank you for hanging on,
thank you for always being there, thank you for all the love and respect you
guys have for me, you're mommy (^_^). Thank you for always making me feel so
secure at work, for making me feel special and important for the team, and for
making me a part of each and everyone's lives. I love you guys! Mommy will
always be here for you. mwah!

Iris'
Graduation Lunch

March 31, 2006

Aristocrat Restaurant

1-Iris, the graduate  2-the family
3-the graduate with her proud brother and adorable niece (^_^)

My sister-in-law, Iris, graduated
a degree on Bachelor of Science in Nursing last March 31st. We really felt bad
upon finding out that we can't attend the graduation rites since there were only
two seats available per graduate. Her boyfriend was even left waiting outside of
the PICC, sad. Anyways, The program itself started around 7 in the morning. Iris
was, unfortunately, late so she wasn't able to join the march.
It
lasted for about four hours, and just when the program was about to end, my
mom-in-law called us and asked us to follow them at the Aristocrat Resto' for
Iris' Graduation lunch so we did. We arrived at the place around past 12 noon,
and it's just annoying that the sun is so up and hot outside, while it's kind of
freezing inside the place. It's a good thing that food was served right away so
Carlo didn't complain at all, hahah! We were done eating after an hour and a
half, just took some photos and asked some help from the waiters who, obviously,
are not ok with the fact that they have to take pictures of some of the
graduates and their family, the quality of the middle picture above is a proof,
sorry. All in all, the lunch just went fine, it's just that Christopher (their
elder bro) and his family wasn't able to make it, anyways, there's always a next
time. =)

And to my dearest/one and
only sister in-law, Congratulations to you dear, we've already said it and I'll
tell you again, We are sooo proud of you. Nursing is a tough course and
finishing college itself is a tough challenge but you made it. Good luck on your
upcoming board exams, enjoy all those series that I have been lending you, and
drive safely, I'll show you how to park back ways next time. hahahah! luv yah!

Kevin's
Graduation

April 1, 2006

RMCHS

1-the honors and their medals 2-kevin and
mama with Mayor Belmonte 3-the graduate

My brother dear Kevin said
goodbye and thank you to High School last April the 1st. And although he made me
an official photographer for the event and took 50 photos all in all, I didn't
mind, to think that my brother really made us proud. He was awarded 10th
honorable mention, and 7 other special awards, out of 1,500+ students in their
school. That day was really special for him. It's just so unusual that he was so
happy, happy enough not to think that it's basically the last day that he and
his classmates/schoolmates will be on the same ground, their school. I can see
that he got tons of friends as well, and like me, he was as well considered
"popular" in school since left and right, he says hi and take pictures
with them.

The program started around
2pm. The honors and their parents/companions are required to march down the
aisle one by one so we did. The opening remarks delivered by the Salutatorian
was really great, I loved it, I was asking for a copy of the said speech and
will definitely blog that soon for everyone to see. =) Congresswoman Nanette
Castello-Daza was there and gave a message, as well as Hon. Mayor Feliciano
"Sonny" Belmonte (guys, I got a chance to shake his hands twice, hahah!
pathetic me!) and he seems so nice and simple. I'm not really into politics, but
after that day, I realized that I like him ... hahah!

After calling out the names
of the graduates, after all the awards has been given, they ended the day with
the graduation song, and after that, they played the traditional "farewell"
song, and you may laugh at me, but I actually cried. I just realized that high
school was really the best part of a person's lifetime. These are the years
where you'll basically learn everything in life. This is the time where you meet
friends that will be with you forever. I am just so happy for my brother for
having a great high school life.

To all of the graduates of
RMCHS, whether you're with the DOST or not, congratulations to all of you and
may you have a successful life ahead. To my brother, good luck to you too and I
love you soooo much!

Kevin's
Graduation Dinner

April 1, 2006

Dencio's

1-kevin and me  2-kevin and nianne  3-kevin and mama  4-mahal,
nianne and me

Right after the graduation we
were all starving already, hahah! And since Carlo is so curious about Dencio's
Sisig, we went there and had dinner. I love dining at Dencio's, aside from the
known fact that their food is good, they got reasonable prices as well. So
there, we had some Tanigue, Crispy Pata, Talong Chips (my favorite), Sisig and a
fruit platter for dessert. We bought home pasta for my lolo, aunt, and the house helps.

By the way, in case you'll be
dining at Dencio's and you got a Metrobank Credit Card, use it and get a free
sisig! (",)

Happy
Birthday Mommy Edith !!!

April 2, 2006

Spring Deer Seafood Restaurant

1- angel, pepper and rose  2-nianne,
mahal and aunt marie at the back  3-iris, mommy, and some friends

My mom-in-law celebrated her
birthday with a huge lunch meal served for the entire family and some friends at
Spring Deer in Timog, Q.C. Her age is something we can consider a secret for
now, hahah! nah ... the truth is, we're not really sure. Iris and I even debated
on how old she really is later that day but wasn't able to get the right info in
the end. =)

The food at the said resto
was just yum! Imagine seafood cooked in a little bit of eccentric way. Carlo
just loved the prawns wrapped on some special breading with a sauce that is made
out of milk and spices, cool! I felt bad that I really wasn't able to enjoy the
food that much (I wasn't even able to order a nice drink *sigh) just because the
whole time, I was worried about the other lunch celebration we were invited to,
where of course, we weren't able to come.

To our dear mommy, Happy
Happy Birthday to you. We know that you'll have many more birthdays to come so
for now, we just wish you more happiness and security all for the coming years.
We'll always be here for you and we love you so much. Thanks for everything.

Well, that's it for now guys.
I still have tons of planning to do, since it's summer time and we had to go to
some places with some family and friends. And just because Nianne's 7th birthday
bash is two months from now, I got to finalize things before it's too late
(",) Anyways, for more pictures of the events mentioned above, click
here
....  See you at the beach! (*_*)
